Senior Solutions Architect, NVIDIA Cloud Partners

Description

The role helps bridge the gap between design and deployment of large-scale AI and HPC GPU infrastructure, taking GenAI, AI and ML hardware and software into production.

You will sit in the solutions architecture group, integrating technology end to end with the company's most strategic customers and passing customer feedback on product strategy to business and engineering teams.

Responsibilities

• Work with the company Cloud Partners to build, deploy and run the company's hardware and software solutions.
• Team up with sales account managers and business leads to find and win opportunities for the company's products.
• Serve as the main technical contact for customers through the build, construction and production of large GPU cloud infrastructure, across the full customer lifecycle.
• Hold regular technical meetings covering project and product details, new features, new technology and debugging.
• Build proof-of-concept solutions for critical business needs, including networking and compute infrastructure.
• Create and deliver technical material such as presentations and workshops.
• Analyze performance and scaling problems with customers and develop joint solutions.

Requirements

• Hold a BS, MS or PhD in electrical or computer engineering, computer science, physics or another engineering field, or equivalent experience.
• Have the motivation and skill to own and drive technical work with customers across the full lifecycle.
• Have 8+ years of solution engineering, sales engineering or cloud engineering experience working directly with partners and customers.
• Have built and deployed large-scale cluster environments.
• Have practical experience designing, building and running data centers for AI and HPC.
• Manage your time well, balance several tasks at once and communicate clearly in documents and presentations.
• Ways to stand out: hands-on work with the company hardware such as GPUs, ETH and IB networking and storage in large AI and HPC clusters.
• Ways to stand out: practical knowledge of the company systems technology such as NCCL, DCGM, UFM, Mission Control and Base Command Manager.
• Ways to stand out: experience with large-scale GPU systems, including performance testing and AI benchmarking.
• Ways to stand out: practical cluster administration and coordination with SLURM, K8s and similar tools.

Conditions

Base pay depends on location, experience and the pay of similar employees. Level 4 ranges from 184,000 USD to 287,500 USD; Level 5 ranges from 224,000 USD to 356,500 USD.
