Senior Software Cloud Engineer - Patient Care Systems - Atlas

Description

The team builds the connected software behind implantable cardiac devices, linking secure device connectivity, real-time data platforms, and clinical tools that help physicians decide faster.

You would work on the Atlas team, which makes critical medical device data available to clinicians, health systems, and external partners.

Responsibilities

• Design and build cloud-based services, APIs, data pipelines, and microservices focused on Data Export and Data Access.
• Deliver clinical data in industry-standard formats such as XML and HL7 so it integrates securely and reliably with healthcare systems.
• Work with C,.NET, SQL, AWS, Kubernetes, and Kafka, prioritising scalability, performance, and reliability.
• Ensure data is accurate, secure, and delivered in near real time to support clinical decisions.
• Collaborate with engineering, product, and QA teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Arts in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
• Four years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree with two years of relevant experience.
• Four or more years delivering software on the.NET Framework.
• Two or more years working in a public cloud environment, preferably AWS.
• Two or more years building applications on Kubernetes.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, source control, and artifact tools such as git and JFrog.
• Experience with SQL.
• Two or more years using Kafka or similar streaming technologies.
• Two or more years with monitoring stacks such as ELK, Dynatrace, or CloudWatch.
• Experience refactoring a monolith into microservices.
• Experience using BDD and Gherkin.
• Experience at a medical device company.
• Ability to take part in an on-call rotation.

Conditions

Hybrid work model.

Location: Ireland.

Pay range for Ireland: 65,600.00 EUR to 98,400.00 EUR.

The final salary is set by objective, job-related criteria, including relevant experience, skills, and qualifications, under the company's compensation framework.
