Senior Salesforce AI Developer

Description

The team is building a secure, scalable and intelligent Salesforce platform, and this senior role focuses on autonomous agents, reusable AI skills and frameworks that coordinate several agents at once. You will also enforce the security design, trust layers and observability that keep agent activity safe, traceable and tied to real business data.

The role mixes technical leadership with hands-on building. You will create custom MCP servers and lead work that connects AI clients, partnering closely with AI Architects on Salesforce.com, Agentforce Studio, SIForce, Data 360, Headless 360, Slack Integration and related technologies.

Responsibilities

• Build and deploy Agentforce Agents that use live CRM data, such as account plans, opportunity pipeline health and quote details, to help sales and operations teams in real time.
• Design multi-agent orchestration patterns on Agent Fabric, deploying specialized agents across business domains and leading handoffs, context passing and fallback logic.
• Design and develop custom MCP Servers, including OAuth 2.0 setup through Data 360 and Headless 360, so external AI clients can reach actions and agents.
• Put MCP observability in place: trace logging, scoped access control and security testing, using Agentforce Testing Center, guardrail and prompt-injection tests, Einstein Trust Layer, Salesforce Code Analyzer (PMD) and CRUD/FLS checks.
• Build and maintain integrations between Salesforce and external systems, using APIs, Platform Events, CDC, custom connectors and web services.
• Turn business and functional specifications into detailed technical specifications for agent-driven solutions.
• Support users on the platform, including onboarding and resolving issues for AI client users, working with AI Architects and functional teams in Sales, Partner Programs, Enterprise Support and IT.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field, verifiable by transcript, or equivalent experience.
• 12+ years of experience architecting and developing full-stack solutions on the Salesforce ecosystem.
• Working knowledge of multi-agent orchestration on Agent Fabric, including agent chaining, context windowing, delegation and conflict resolution.
• Hands-on experience with MCP or equivalent, tailored MCP server environments, REST APIs and OAuth/PKCE, plus Python or JavaScript for scripting services or MCP servers.
• Strong working knowledge of Headless 360 and Data 360, including exposing Salesforce actions, data and agents as headless services for non-Salesforce AI clients.
• Clear understanding of Salesforce objects, the data model and security architecture.
• Salesforce.com certifications are required: Agentforce Specialist and Data 360 Consultant are highly valued.

Conditions

Base salary is set by location, experience and the pay of employees in similar roles. The base salary range is 176,000 USD to 276,000 USD.
