Senior Project Manager

As Senior Project Manager, you will take charge of large, complex projects and make sure they meet business goals, customer expectations and financial targets.

You will lead teams made up of several disciplines, align resources across functions, and push projects through from start to finish. Handling complexity, reducing risk and keeping stakeholders engaged will shape the results. You will also coach project members and share good practice across the company.

The role suits an experienced project leader who works well in an international setting and wants ownership of demanding projects with real business impact.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex projects from launch through execution, commissioning and close-out.
• Set project scope, objectives, schedules, budgets and resource needs together with stakeholders.
• Track progress, manage risks and put mitigation plans in place to keep projects on course.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams and keep business functions, suppliers and customers aligned.
• Oversee project finances, covering budgets, forecasts, cost control and revenue performance.
• Make sure internal processes, contract terms, quality standards and customer requirements are met.
• Give leadership and key stakeholders regular updates and strategic advice.
• Coach project team members and encourage continuous improvement and sound project management practice.

Requirements

• A bachelor's or master's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Project Management or a related field.
• Extensive experience leading large, complex projects in industrial, infrastructure, energy or technology settings.
• A record of delivering projects within scope, budget and schedule.
• Strong leadership, stakeholder management, negotiation and communication skills.
• Experience managing multidisciplinary teams and several project interfaces at once.
• The ability to make sound decisions in complex situations and resolve difficult business and project problems.

Conditions

Based in Zaventem, Flemish Brabant, Belgium. This role is not remote.
