Description

The company makes Grafana Cloud, a fully managed observability platform used by more than 10,000 organizations to keep systems reliable, resolve incidents faster, and optimize telemetry at scale. The platform is built on open source and open standards, works across any stack, and brings AI into observability and observability into AI so teams and their agents can see, understand, and act on data wherever it lives. Customers include Anthropic, Bloomberg, NVIDIA, Microsoft, and Salesforce. The company is 100% remote, with team members in 40+ countries, and is backed by Lightspeed Venture Partners, Sequoia Capital, GIC, Coatue, J.P. Morgan, CapitalG, and Lead Edge Capital.

The company is scaling and keeps an open-source foundation, a global collaborative culture, and a focus on meaningful work. Decisions are made openly, with transparency, autonomy, and trust.

You do not need to match every requirement to apply.

This is a Senior Product Marketing role in the Product organization, not Marketing. You will own messaging and positioning for a broad part of the Observability product line and work with product managers and marketing to build campaigns, content, events, and training that help buyers buy and sellers sell.

Product marketers here do more than run launches. You will teach product managers and engineers how to think about growth and demand, and turn product marketing know-how into AI-assisted tools and processes that anyone can use. For example, everyone adds product information to a shared knowledge base, which is used to generate enablement materials and decks.

The role combines strategy with hands-on work such as blog posts, webinar outlines, and video scripts. It suits someone who wants impact and independence. It is not a fit for a narrow role that follows a fixed playbook.

Responsibilities

  • Teach product managers how to define product value, messaging, and go-to-market strategy, from competitive positioning through to sales enablement collateral.
  • Work with product management, engineering, and go-to-market teams to produce materials that help customers evaluate and adopt the products, such as reference architectures, implementation guides, and detailed product information.
  • Own customer lifecycle campaigns covering competitive positioning, retention, and upsell and cross-sell, shaping programs that drive growth across the whole customer journey.
  • Carry out market and customer research into pain points, competitors, and opportunities.
  • Train go-to-market and sales teams on product capabilities and the value they deliver, and run enablement so customer-facing staff can engage customers, partners, and prospects effectively.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of relevant experience in product marketing, solutions marketing, or product management.
  • Experience marketing and selling to a technical audience.
  • A genuine interest in open source, cloud native, and infrastructure technology.
  • A track record of taking complex projects from start to finish efficiently.
  • Ability to explain the value of technical products clearly to customers and sellers.
  • Experience leading product or feature launches both independently and as part of a team.
  • Experience using AI tools such as ChatGPT and Claude to automate messaging and workflows.
  • Comfort coordinating with many internal and external stakeholders in complicated processes.
  • Strong product and technical curiosity, applied to clear packaging, positioning, and messaging.
  • Quantitative analysis skills for measuring campaign performance, assessing lifecycle metrics, and making data-driven recommendations.
  • Excellent writing and communication skills.
  • A high say-do ratio, consistently delivering on commitments.

Conditions

UK base salary range is GBP 91,755 to GBP 110,106. Final pay depends on level, experience, and skills as assessed during interviews. Every role includes Restricted Stock Units (RSUs).
