Description

About DualEntry

DualEntry is building the OS for finance.

Every business needs a financial system of record, yet the world's largest fintech market ($220B+) still runs on software from the 1990s. DualEntry's AI-native ERP automates accounting from data entry to close, so finance teams move faster, spend less and incur less risk.

In just 2 years we've raised $100M+ from Lightspeed, Khosla Ventures, Contrary and Google Ventures and earned the trust of customers from $5M ARR to publicly traded companies.

We hire outliers - people who have achieved difficult things, in their careers or beyond. You'll find leaders, colleagues who've competed at the highest levels of sport, performed on Broadway, trained with UFC champions and founded the country’s largest Python community.

Why This Role Matters Now

Where you'll create impact

Own Accounting Intelligence and our AI platform end to end: the agent framework, retrieval, and the shared AI services every other team builds on

Build the evals system that makes accuracy a feature, with golden sets, regression checks, and every number traced back to its source

Shape the next bets, from CFO insights to agents customers set up themselves

Set the roadmap with the pod’s tech lead and own the outcomes (retention, activation, expansion)

Partner closely with engineering and design leadership on architecture and technical trade-offs that span multiple teams

Improve the internal processes, tooling, and operating model that help the whole team ship fast

Talk to customers every week, from power users building on our API with Claude Code to Excel-native controllers

What sets you up for success

6+ years in product, ideally B2B SaaS, owning an area and moving real metrics

Shipped LLM or agentic features to external customers in production

Designed evals yourself and know how to tell when AI is working

Can go below the UI: data model, pipeline, where the model fits

Built in a space where a wrong answer has a cost (fintech, payments, healthcare, legal)

Hands-on builder: you prototype, write the spec, and work side by side with engineers

Clear, direct communicator

Excited to work in person with an ambitious, fast-moving team

Requirements

  • Hands-on building with agentic frameworks (e.g., LangChain, CrewAI) and daily use of AI coding/assistant tools (e.g., Claude, Codex, Cursor)
  • Accounting, ERP, or fintech domain experience
  • An MBA and/or experience working with business stakeholders (e.g., Sales, Revenue)
  • Technical background (CS, engineering)
  • Why you’ll thrive here
  • Significant equity ownership in one of the top AI companies in the world
  • You’re joining early and will grow with DualEntry
  • Your feedback shapes the product directly
  • High-speed, high-trust environment with high expectations
  • Meet the team
  • Andy , Head of Product - under his leadership the team increased the customer win rate by focusing on the SaaS vertical, shipped the first comprehensive ERP documentation website, focused in on quality as our number one feature, and much more. Andy kicked off DualEntry's Ctrl+AI series, helping accounting professionals learn about in-production AI-native workflows.
  • Cheryl, CPA demoed the product to a skeptical prospect who said our RevRec beat several standalone tools, and built the AI process now used as our "Deal Bot."
  • Charlotte , founding PM and ACA-qualified accountant the go-to on integrations, from CRM syncs to global bank connections.
  • Justin , former Consulting CFO - helped build our accounting engine from scratch and just shipped AI Flux Analysis!
