Anthropic

Senior Partner Systems Analyst

  • Hybrid
  • 6+ years

Salary

$215,000 - 300,000/ year

Description

The company is a public benefit corporation headquartered in San Francisco. It builds reliable, interpretable, and steerable AI systems, aiming for AI that is safe and beneficial for users and society. The company is growing quickly, with a team of researchers, engineers, policy experts, and business leaders.

The Partner Experience team is building an AI-native operating model across partner-facing systems: Salesforce, PEM, the partner portal, enablement and certification platforms, and the integrations linking them. The systems lead owns the architecture and data model, the GTM Systems team builds and releases Salesforce changes, and the AI Operations Engineer builds agentic workflows on top of the stack.

This senior business systems analyst role connects the business to all of these teams. You will run discovery, capture requirements, lead UAT, and publish release notes for every change, and you will work hands-on as a Salesforce admin to keep production healthy. You will also spot recurring requests that should become automations.

When a partner program launches, a partner manager needs a new workflow, or a partner cannot see a deal registration, you are the first call. You will set up intake, discovery, UAT, and release processes, decide what gets worked on first, and make sure nothing ships without agreed requirements, UAT sign-off, and release notes. Smaller fixes you will make yourself as an admin.

Responsibilities

  • Meet the people who raised a request, learn the problem, map the current process, and size the change before anything is built.
  • Write requirements for bug fixes, improvements, enhancements, and new builds, including user stories, process flows, field and access definitions, acceptance criteria, and edge cases, detailed enough for the systems lead, GTM Systems, the AI Operations Engineer, or an implementation partner to build from.
  • Hand requirements to the build team, answer questions during the build, check the result against acceptance criteria, and coordinate each release.
  • Own UAT for every change: write the test plan and test cases from acceptance criteria, coordinate partner testers, log and retest defects, collect sign-off, and smoke test in production after release.
  • Publish release notes for every release covering what changed, who it affects, and what users must do differently, written so partner managers can act on them.
  • Prioritize the backlog with stakeholders by weighing partner impact, risk, and effort, and keep a visible view of what comes next and why.
  • Be the point of contact for bugs, enhancement requests, and system questions across Salesforce, PEM, and the partner portal, and run the intake queue end to end.
  • Triage production incidents: reproduce the issue, assess impact and severity, resolve it or route it to the right owner, and keep affected teams informed until it is closed.
  • Administer the partner Salesforce org, including objects, fields, page layouts, validation rules, flows, permission sets, reports, and dashboards.
  • Track how data moves between Salesforce and PEM, monitor integration health, and diagnose sync failures, mapping errors, and access issues.
  • Maintain platform documentation: system documentation, data dictionary, integration maps, and admin runbooks.
  • Log repeatable admin and support requests as automation candidates and work with the AI Operations Engineer to take them off the manual queue.

Requirements

  • Minimum: experience running discovery and requirements sessions with business stakeholders and turning what you hear into user stories, process flows, and acceptance criteria.
  • Minimum: a track record of working with a systems or engineering team through a build, from requirements handover to release.
  • Minimum: disciplined testing habits, including UAT planned and run with business users, test cases written from acceptance criteria, defects tracked to closure, sign-off before release, and smoke testing before a change counts as done.
  • Minimum: clear written communication, so requirements get built correctly the first time, release notes help non-technical users act, and documentation gets used.
  • Minimum: daily use of LLM tools such as Claude, with examples of how they changed your requirements, testing, or documentation work.
  • Minimum: a track record of owning a production Salesforce org or business systems stack, including its intake, triage, and release processes.
  • Minimum: strong Salesforce admin skills in declarative configuration, flows, validation rules, the security and sharing model, and reporting.
  • Minimum: working knowledge of integrations, including how records sync through APIs or middleware, how to read an error log, and how to trace a data issue to its source.
  • Minimum: a structured approach to incidents, separating symptoms from root cause and communicating clearly while things are broken.
  • Minimum: sound judgment on priorities, including the ability to say no or not yet and explain why.
  • Preferred: 5+ years as a business systems analyst, Salesforce administrator, or in a similar role owning discovery, requirements, and UAT, ideally supporting a partner, sales, or customer success organization.
  • Preferred: experience in a sprint-based delivery model with a shared backlog and regular sprint reviews.
  • Preferred: experience with partner relationship management platforms, partner portals, or channel programs such as deal registration, certifications, or MDF.
  • Preferred: Salesforce release management experience with sandboxes, change sets or DevOps tooling, and deployment checklists.
  • Preferred: SQL or scripting skills for data investigation and cleanup.
  • Preferred: Salesforce Administrator, Platform App Builder, or Business Analyst certification.

Conditions

Minimum education: a Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience.

Required field of study: a field relevant to the role, shown through coursework, training, or professional experience.

Required years of experience match the internal job level for the position.

Hybrid policy: staff are expected in an office at least 25% of the time, though some roles may require more time in the office.

Visa sponsorship is available but not for every role and every candidate. If an offer is made, the company will make every reasonable effort to get you a visa and retains an immigration lawyer to help.

Annual salary range: $215,000 - $300,000 USD.

Applicants are encouraged to apply even if they do not meet every listed qualification.

Benefits

  • Competitive compensation and benefits.
  • Optional equity donation matching.
  • Generous vacation and parental leave.
  • Flexible working hours.
  • An office space for working alongside colleagues.
