Senior Mobile Engineer (React Native), Shopping AI & Search

Description

The company sells meal kits and also offers ready-to-eat meals, meat, seafood and pet food across eight brands that serve millions of households.

You would join the Shopping AI and Search squad in Warsaw, which sits within the Shopping Journey tribe.

The squad builds AI assistant features for iOS and Android, including conversational search, personalized recommendations and in-app help that lets customers find and order products they like.

Responsibilities

• Develop and improve a large React Native app that powers AI shopping features across all brands.
• Add on-device LLM features, planning for response time, cost, unpredictable outputs and fallbacks when something fails.
• Take features from proposal to release, using feature flags, analytics and A/B tests.
• Work with GraphQL APIs built on Apollo Federation, and keep the app stable and fast.
• Guide mobile architecture across the tribe and lead mid-sized to large technical projects.

Requirements

• Strong React and TypeScript skills, ideally with React Native. Experienced React web engineers may apply.
• Daily hands-on use of AI coding assistants such as Claude Code, Cursor or Copilot, and interest in GenAI features in production.
• A record of shipping consumer apps at scale, with a good grasp of state management, navigation and performance.
• Responsibility for code quality: unit, integration and E2E tests, code review and pre-release checks.
• Good collaboration with backend, AI, product and design teams.
• Experience running LLM features in production, native iOS (Swift) or Android (Kotlin) work, multi-market feature flags, A/B testing tools, and search or recommendation systems.

Based at the Warsaw office in Mennica Legacy Tower at Prosta 20.
