The company is a venture-backed defense technology firm that builds intelligent systems to protect service members and civilians. Its work spans autonomy software, aircraft, and simulation and synthetic reality technology, and it has offices and facilities in the U.S., Europe, the Middle East, and Asia-Pacific.

This senior role leads military and DoW SkillBridge recruiting. You will build a pipeline of transitioning service members and veterans for full-time roles in engineering, flight operations, field support, and program teams, and help them move into civilian careers with the company.

Responsibilities

• Run the DoW SkillBridge and military fellowship programs from intake to check-ins, covering eligibility tracking, team matching, and onboarding
• Work with HR, Legal, and Security so that onboarding, system access, and paperwork stay compliant for fellows still on active duty
• Turn fellowships into full-time offers by agreeing on fit and headcount with hiring managers and timing offers before separation dates
• Help hiring managers read military experience, ratings, and qualifications to judge role fit and level
• Build relationships with transition assistance programs, base career offices, SkillBridge intermediaries, and veteran organizations
• Attend military hiring events, transition fairs, and on-base engagements on the company's behalf
• Track and report fellow numbers, conversion rates, time to hire, and source performance, and use the results to improve the program

Requirements

• 5+ years of full-cycle recruiting, including at least 2 years recruiting veterans or transitioning military talent
• Direct experience with DoW SkillBridge, Hiring Our Heroes, or similar military fellowship programs
• Working knowledge of military career paths, ratings, and qualifications and how they map to civilian roles
• Experience working with HR, Legal, or Security on hiring that requires careful compliance
• Strong organization and the ability to manage rolling start dates and individual candidate timelines
• Working proficiency with an applicant tracking system and reporting on pipeline and conversion metrics
• Clear written and verbal communication, so you can speak credibly to service members, transition offices, and hiring leaders
• Willingness to travel for military hiring events and on-base engagements
• Preferred: Prior military service, or a military spouse or family background
• Preferred: Recruiting experience in defense, aerospace, AI, or robotics
• Preferred: Experience recruiting candidates who hold or are eligible for security clearances
• Preferred: Familiarity with export control (ITAR/EAR) and work authorization rules in defense hiring
• Preferred: Existing relationships with base transition offices, SkillBridge intermediaries, or veteran service organizations

Conditions

Pay falls within the range stated above and depends on factors such as skill set, experience, licenses and certifications, and work location
