You will lead a Senior Engineering Manager team inside the Growth organization that works on user acquisition, activation, and retention for customer-facing products.

The role suits a seasoned manager who still writes code and works hands-on with AI-assisted development tools.

Responsibilities

  • Set the technical direction for your team and stay involved in building, reviewing, and designing solutions alongside engineers.
  • Bring AI-first habits into the team by adopting Claude Code and other LLM tools in daily work to speed up experiments and shipping.
  • Work with product and data colleagues to shape the technical roadmap for acquisition and retention goals, using React, TypeScript, and AWS on scalable architecture.
  • Hire, coach, and develop strong engineers, combining direct mentoring with AI-supported growth.
  • Keep observability and stability high, and make sure experiments and features meet strict quality standards as delivery speeds up.
  • Work on site in the Palo Alto office Monday to Wednesday to build team cohesion and solve cross-functional problems faster.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of formal engineering management experience leading a team of engineers.
  • Proven full-stack experience with React, TypeScript, and AWS services such as Lambda, ECS, and RDS.
  • Demonstrated use of LLM-integrated agents, specifically Claude Code, to improve SDLC speed and code quality.
  • A track record of shipping customer-facing SaaS products with a focus on metrics-driven growth, conversion, and user experience.
  • Ability to turn complex technical and AI trade-offs into clear plans for leadership and cross-functional partners.

Conditions

On-site work in the Palo Alto office Monday through Wednesday.

The company is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on any basis protected by law.
