You will help build the next generation of credit risk monitoring systems that let the company track exposure to financial institutions, corporates, and governments worldwide.
The role sets technical direction and roadmap for solutions in Limit Monitoring and Early Warning Indicators within Credit Risk, and you will shape architecture decisions for systems that determine how the company manages risk.
Coding takes more than 50% of your time, so expect substantial hands-on work.
The team wants a technical leader who champions AI-native engineering and works with tools like GitHub Copilot, Devin, and LLM-based coding assistants, including autonomous coding agents, to speed up development, raise code quality, and automate complex workflows.
Responsibilities
Write production-grade code yourself, spending more than 50% of your time hands-on with modern Java (17/21+), Spring Boot, and cloud-native microservices.
Act as the team's lead practitioner for AI-assisted engineering tools such as GitHub Copilot, Devin, and AI-based code review and test generation agents, and build them into daily work and CI/CD pipelines.
Set up agentic workflows, prompt-driven engineering, and automated testing to shorten delivery cycles and raise code coverage.
Build quick proofs of concept with AI assistants to assess emerging architecture patterns, libraries, and frameworks.
Define the roadmap and vision for the next generation of risk monitoring systems with the product development team, end users, and technology partners, keeping them aligned with enterprise architecture and business goals.
Lead the design of resilient, scalable, high-performance, and secure credit risk applications built on microservices, event-driven, and serverless patterns.
Write blueprints and guidelines for bringing AI/ML and advanced analytics into credit risk workflows.
Set KPIs to monitor the effectiveness and performance of the architecture.
Mentor development teams and other architects, and run architecture reviews that check design principles, best practices, and security standards.
Explain architectural vision, technical decisions, and progress to technical and non-technical audiences, building consensus behind them.
Keep evolving and tuning the credit system for resilience, performance, maintainability, and future demand.
Find and reduce architectural risks so solutions stay stable and compliant.
