Description

The company is the team behind the PlayStation brand, a subsidiary of Sony Group Corporation that builds hardware and network services used by more than 100 million people and creates entertainment based on well-known intellectual properties.

This is a Senior Product Security Analyst role on the Game Security Team. The job protects players from cheaters and keeps games fair by using anti-cheat detections and investigative work to build evidence against people who spoil other players' experiences.

You will work with engineers and data scientists to connect the clues and assemble a body of evidence that supports isolating cheaters confidently.

Responsibilities

  • Run detailed investigations into cheating using game data and telemetry.
  • Write clear, detailed investigation reports, backing every finding and recommendation with specific data and evidence.
  • Work with the team to rank, validate, and refine cheat detections.
  • Contribute to shared team goals as a valued member of the group.

Requirements

  • You have a strong record as a technically skilled investigator who can uncover information, solve hard problems, and monitor adversaries closely.
  • You can work well in a team and also drive projects to completion on your own with little supervision.
  • You have a proven ability to write and present conclusive, data-driven reports that lead to action and specific outcomes.
  • You are proficient at querying relational databases (e.g., SQL) and big data services (e.g., Redshift, Omni, Snowflake or Big Query).
  • You are familiar with the cheating and security landscape of AAA games and care about protecting player experiences.
  • You hold a Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
  • Nice to have: experience in game security, anti-cheat, or similar investigative work.
  • Nice to have: experience using data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Omni) to interpret and present data insights.
  • Nice to have: proficiency in additional languages (e.g., Chinese, Korean, Russian, Japanese, Spanish).
