Role Purpose

We are looking for a Senior Executive, Paid Media to help maximise the reach, engagement and commercial return of the company partner activations through best-in-class paid media, audience targeting and digital distribution.

Reporting to the Manager, Paid Media, this fixed-term role will support the Shark Ninja partnership and lead the planning, execution and optimisation of paid media campaigns that amplify partner content. You will help ensure partner investments deliver measurable business outcomes through effective use of paid social, programmatic advertising, first-party audience targeting and campaign optimisation.

Working across Digital, Marketing and Commercial teams, you will bring hands-on expertise across paid social, paid search, SEO and digital planning, while helping partners unlock greater value from the company’s digital inventory through audience insights, performance reporting and technology-enabled opportunities.

Responsibilities

  • Paid Media Execution
  • Support paid media planning across Meta, TikTok, YouTube, Google, programmatic channels and emerging digital platforms.
  • Assist in the development of full-funnel media plans designed to maximise awareness, engagement and conversion.
  • Coordinate campaign delivery, optimisation and budget allocation across partner campaigns.
  • Ensure campaigns are delivered against agreed audience and performance objectives.
  • Test, learn and optimise audience targeting, creative formats and media strategies.
  • Partner Activation & Distribution
  • Develop amplification strategies that maximise the reach of partner content and campaigns.
  • Support the distribution of branded content across the company’s digital ecosystem.
  • Collaborate with Content, Social Media and Commercial Partnership teams to build activation plans focused on audience growth and performance.
  • Deliver audience targeting strategies that support fan engagement across competitions, digital experiences and partner campaigns.
  • Programmatic & Audience Targeting
  • Support the delivery of programmatic media opportunities across the company’s owned and operated channels.
  • Utilise first-party audience data to improve campaign performance and partner targeting capabilities.
  • Build audience segmentation strategies using fan behaviours, interests and engagement signals.
  • Manage retargeting and lookalike audience approaches to maximise marketing efficiency.
  • Measurement & Optimisation
  • Support the creation of campaign KPIs and performance metrics.
  • Monitor campaign delivery against impression, engagement and audience objectives.
  • Build reporting dashboards and campaign summaries that demonstrate partner ROI.
  • Work closely with Data & Insights teams to identify optimisation opportunities.
  • Deliver actionable recommendations that improve future campaign performance.

Requirements

  • To be successful in this role, you will bring:
  • Experience in media planning and hands-on campaign execution, ideally within a media agency or in-house digital team.
  • Practical experience across Meta, TikTok, Google Ads, YouTube and paid search platforms.
  • A proven ability to deliver full-funnel media plans and measurable campaign outcomes.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights and recommendations.
  • Experience managing multiple campaigns and deadlines within a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across internal teams and external partners.
  • Strong organisational skills, attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem solving.
  • A confident, adaptable mindset and a passion for bringing best-practice digital thinking into a high-performance team.
  • Experience working with global brands or within the sports industry would be advantageous but is not essential.
  • Additional Information
  • This is a fixed-term, full-time opportunity through to 31 December 2027. The role is based within the company’s Digital team and requires attendance at the McLaren Technology Centre in Woking, UK, at least three days per week.
  • The company operates in a fast-paced, high-performance environment. Due to the nature of racing and digital media, the role may require work during unsocial hours and occasional travel.
  • Additional Information
  • Success in racing comes from bringing together talented people with different skills, perspectives and experiences. We're committed to building an inclusive environment where everyone feels supported and empowered to deliver their best work.
  • Every role has the potential to drive high performance. You'll be part of a team united by a shared ambition to push boundaries and embody our racing mindset. We invest in our people through opportunities to develop and grow, creating an environment where individuals and teams can thrive.
  • Alongside a range of wellbeing initiatives and development opportunities, we're committed to helping you build a rewarding career and make your mark at the company.
  • Company Description
  • High performance isn't a given. It’s built on standards.
  • Standards that have driven McLaren for over 60 years.
  • And if you’re ready for the challenge, that standard is yours to own.
  • Burning enthusiasm. Constant improvement. The thrill in the pursuit of better.

  • Because racing isn’t just something we do. It’s who we are.
