  • Apply object-oriented programming concepts, using C++ and Python where possible.
  • Take part in the full software life cycle: requirements, design, implementation, testing, release and maintenance.
  • Work on an Agile team inside a larger Scaled Agile Framework organization, planning in sprints, program increments and against the product roadmap.

  • Mentor less experienced engineers and encourage knowledge sharing across the development community.

  • Legal authorization to work in the US. The company will not sponsor employment visas for this role, now or in the future.

  • 5+ years of software engineering experience, with a track record of professional software design and implementation.
  • Preferred: experience developing embedded software, especially on an embedded RTOS or Linux.
  • Preferred: experience debugging with an on-chip debugger or a software debugger such as GDB.
  • Preferred: experience building automated tests and tools in a high-level language such as Python.
  • Preferred: knowledge of object-oriented analysis, design and programming.
  • Preferred: experience developing software and automated tests in object-oriented languages such as C++ or Python.
  • Preferred: experience building automation frameworks and tools.
  • Preferred: experience with requirements decomposition and test traceability.
  • Preferred: experience with open source tools such as Git and Jenkins.
  • Preferred: knowledge of unit testing tools such as GTest or CppUnit.
  • Preferred: experience working in an Agile setting and with Agile project tools.
  • Preferred: experience with industrial protocols, especially Common Industrial Protocol (CIP).
