Description

You will direct HCP marketing across the U.S. for the company's flu vaccines, positioning each product within the wider U.S. vaccines range.

This role covers the whole flu portfolio, not one product, in a competitive market that keeps changing. How each product is positioned against the others drives revenue.

The company is an R&D-driven, AI-powered biopharma business. Its vaccines are used to protect roughly half a billion lives each year, and its work spans mRNA, AI-based research and smart manufacturing.

You report to the U.S. Head of the flu franchise and lead marketers ranging from Associate Director to Product Manager. You will also coordinate agencies and third parties and act as a central leader across workstreams.

The role is based in Morristown, NJ.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the main link to 4 field sales teams: set the engagement model, sequence content, coordinate field and NPP activity, and define KPIs.
  • Build field-ready tools and training, and drive account activation across 2 phases: pre-book, and in-season with its own call to action and tactics such as EHR and health-maintenance prompts during flu season.
  • Plan media, channel mix, creative, measurement and optimization for NPP and omnichannel, and build full-funnel KPIs.
  • Run precision engagement to reach customer segments that field capacity cannot cover.
  • Review performance weekly and move spend between regions and segments as results change.
  • Turn insights such as ATU, VCR drop-off, EHR signals and field feedback into clear value propositions and personalized journeys for pediatric and adult practices and health systems.
  • Commission market research that draws on these insights but stays separate from them.
  • Lead a multi-agency setup with no single agency of record across creative, media, martech, analytics and data. Write tight briefs, SOWs and SLAs, and make sure work lands on time, on budget and shows measurable ROI.
  • Coordinate with Sales, Market Access, Medical/HEOR, Analytics, Supply, Training, Communications, Legal, Regulatory and Compliance. Act as the U.S. contact for Global Marketing and turn current evidence into compliant messaging.
  • Grow a high-performing team with mixed levels and skills. Raise talent density, set clear OKRs, and build accountability, inclusion and P&L ownership.
  • Own targets, dashboards and leadership readouts. Manage advertising, promotion and NPP budgets, and ensure RC/MLR readiness and full compliance.
  • Hit brand and financial targets by fiscal and seasonal year-end. Use analytics to find leakage and make fast HCP interventions. Work with Sales, Medical and Value on maternal defense and infant immunization standardization.
  • Shift budget toward lower-funnel levers such as EHR, workflow and point of care, prioritize by geography, and tie spend to measurable behavior change.
  • Build journeys with automated personalized follow-ups, improve the online ordering platform, and run personal and non-personal promotion as one system.
  • Set clear governance, plan succession and build capability across the franchise.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • 10+ years of pharma or biopharma commercial experience, including 8+ years in brand or HCP marketing.
  • A proven record in sales force engagement, precision marketing and NPP/omnichannel with measurable results, including positioning single products against competitors within a portfolio to drive revenue.
  • Data-driven, with strong cross-functional influence and executive communication.
  • Preferred: MBA or advanced degree.
  • Preferred: launch or seasonal brand experience.
  • A plus: pediatrics, respiratory, IDN or global collaboration experience.

Conditions

Hybrid work arrangement based in Morristown, NJ.

Travel up to 30%.

Open to U.S. and Puerto Rico residents only, and to North America applicants only.

Salary range: $206,250.00 - $297,916.66. Final pay is set according to demonstrated experience.

Benefits

  • A rewards package that recognizes your contribution.
  • Health and wellbeing benefits, including high-quality healthcare and prevention and wellness programs.
  • At least 14 weeks of gender-neutral parental leave.
  • Career growth through promotion or lateral moves, at home or internationally.
  • You may be eligible for the company's employee benefit programs.
