This senior role focuses on supply chain optimization, using AI agents and machine learning to improve delivery promises, fulfillment routing, and root-cause analysis.
The work moves agentic and ML systems into production and mixes LLM-based development with classical modeling on large datasets.
Responsibilities
Build goal-driven AI agents that improve customer delivery promises, fulfillment routing, and root-cause analysis across end-to-end supply chain workflows.
Create agents that reason, plan, call tools, and manage short- and long-term memory, using LangChain, LangGraph, Google ADK, and Pydantic.
Work with LLMs such as GPT, Claude, and Gemini, and train custom models in Hugging Face, PyTorch, or TensorFlow for NLP work covering context engineering, chain-of-thought reasoning, and tool calling.
Deploy AI/ML and agentic systems to production with Docker, Kubernetes, GCP or Azure, and Airflow, aiming for scalability, reliability, and low latency, backed by CI/CD pipelines for ongoing updates.
Build scalable RAG systems that give real-time access to logistics policies, SOPs, and network constraints.
Run vector databases (Pinecone, Milvus, ChromaDB) and knowledge graphs to sharpen decisions on fulfillment, routing, and issue resolution.
Apply classical and advanced machine learning, such as XGBoost, K-Means, regression, SVMs, and random forest, to large structured and unstructured datasets to improve delivery ETA prediction and reliability.
Process data and build models with Pandas, NumPy, and scikit-learn.
Build and tune PostgreSQL workflows for transactional data and Google BigQuery workflows for analytics, keeping data quality, consistency, and performance at the company's scale.
Build evaluation and observability tools with Arize Phoenix and LangFuse to track production accuracy, hallucination rate, latency, and cost for models and agents.
Turn research from venues such as NeurIPS, ICML, ICLR, ACL, and EMNLP into production-ready enterprise solutions for the supply chain.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree or equivalent in computer science, analytics, engineering (any), or a related field, plus one year of work in analytics or a similar area; or a Master's degree or equivalent in those fields.
Hands-on experience building deep learning architectures in Python with PyTorch, TensorFlow, and LangChain.
Experience pretraining and fine-tuning Hugging Face or TFHub language models for NLI and question answering on open corpora such as SQuAD and MNLI.
Experience with GPT-family generative models and encoder models such as BERT, RoBERTa, and DistilBERT for language reasoning.
Experience using computational semantics tools (WordNet, spaCy, NLTK) for linguistic analysis.
Experience with statistical and modeling methods such as graphical models, Bayesian inference, neural networks, SVM, and random forest, using scikit-learn and SciPy.
Experience validating models through testing, tuning, and metrics such as chi-square, ROC curves, and root mean square error.
Experience running trend, sentiment, and cluster analysis (Word2Vec, TF-IDF, K-Means, hierarchical clustering, PCA, FAMD) to answer business questions and make recommendations.
Experience with exploratory data analysis using Pandas, NumPy, Matplotlib, and Plotly.
Experience with CI/CD, testing, and documentation, including UML, state and activity workflows, Astah, and Java.
Graduate coursework, graduate research, or professional experience with these skills counts toward the requirements, in any amount.
