Description

The company is a pioneer in industry cloud software for life sciences firms, aiming to help them get therapies to patients sooner.

It is one of the fastest-growing SaaS businesses on record, with revenue above $3B in its last fiscal year and plenty of room to keep growing.

Its four core values are Do the Right Thing, Customer Success, Employee Success, and Speed.

Since 2021 it has been a public benefit corporation, required to weigh the interests of customers, employees, society, and investors.

The company works as Work Anywhere, so you can choose to work from home or from an office.

Responsibilities

  • Join the Link Key Accounts team to design the models and methods that turn data from several healthcare sources into dependable insight on healthcare organizations, their networks, and the people who make decisions in them.
  • Work on both quantitative and qualitative problems, from analyzing claims and financial data to inferring org charts and influence from titles, roles, and other soft signals.
  • Help shape the methods and the product in an early-stage role where you have wide freedom to decide the approach.
  • Apply statistics and machine learning to structured healthcare claims and other data to create new metrics, such as readmission rates and average length of stay across different claims sources, all-payer estimates, and clinical ontologies.
  • Turn public financial filings into clear signals and a clear narrative about how healthy healthcare organizations are financially.
  • Build entity resolution and record-linkage models that connect health systems, provider organizations, employers, and payers.
  • Map affiliations and networks, working out how organizations and people are connected and how influence and reporting lines run between them.
  • Derive organizational structure from qualitative cues, producing org charts and decision-maker maps from titles, positions, and role traits.
  • Create sourcing methods that assess, score, and merge mixed inputs such as public filings, web sources, and licensed data into accurate, defensible account signals.
  • Build the models behind account targeting and segmentation, including deciles, patient-volume and disease-state signals, and strategic filters.
  • Work with Product, Data Engineering, Engineering, and QA to move solutions from prototype to production, then keep refining them.

Requirements

  • You have 5+ years of hands-on experience in data science and statistics.
  • You have 5+ years working with healthcare data and the US healthcare system.
  • You have worked with healthcare claims data, medical and/or pharmacy, and the metrics built on it.
  • You have worked with healthcare organization data, such as HCO/HCP, IDN, GPO, and payer records.
  • You have developed clinical ontologies or standardized healthcare data models.
  • You have done entity resolution, record linkage, or fuzzy matching on messy, real-world data.
  • You have a record of drawing structure out of noisy, incomplete data, covering cleansing, experiment design, solution assessment, and scaling.
  • You are comfortable with ambiguity and can turn broad goals into concrete work plans.
  • You can explain statistical and technical ideas to audiences with different levels of technical knowledge.
  • You hold an M.S. in Statistics, Computer Science, Machine Learning, Mathematics, or another quantitative field.
  • The hiring process includes a personality assessment from a third party, sent to you within 3 days of applying, which must be completed before your full application is reviewed.
  • After the assessment, the team reviews your full application and emails you the decision.
  • If you advance, interviews include a conversation with the hiring manager, a practical case exercise, and a final conversation with the group's Senior Leader.
  • The hiring manager sends the final decision once all interviews are finished.
