Senior Backend Engineer, Poland (m/f/d)

Description

The company builds an AI companion that takes admin work off nurses, with the aim of returning up to 30% of their time to patient care. It is used by more than 2,000 care facilities and over 200,000 nurses.

The company has raised a $50M Series A led by Balderton Capital, with support from HV Capital, Y Combinator and other VC firms. It is a fast-growing team.

You will join the US/UK squad as a Backend Engineer, based in the Warsaw, Poland hub.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain the integrations that link the product with software used in senior care and hospitals, so data moves reliably between them.
• Develop interfaces that connect the product with systems in the care and medical sector.
• Design and build a scalable API, help set industry standards, and work closely with partners and clients.
• Own integrations end to end, from the first idea and implementation through ongoing development.
• Design data models and solutions that hold up over time for complex systems.
• Your work saves caregivers time and improves documentation.

Requirements

• Several years of backend development and API integration experience.
• Proficiency in Kotlin and Coroutines is essential.
• Experience designing and developing APIs with REST or GraphQL.
• English at C1 business level to communicate effectively with customers.
• Willingness to travel to Germany every 2 months.
