Senior Associate, Front-End Web & Email Developer (Auto)

Description

The company is the auto dealer brand of a financial services firm, and this role supports its marketing campaigns and customer touchpoints.

You will shape the structure, layout and behaviour of landing pages, email campaigns and other interactive experiences, and you will be the go-to expert on how they are built.

You will work alongside business partners, brand strategy managers, data partners and creative teams to deliver work and help the team improve its strategy, technical approach and day-to-day efficiency.

The role is highly visible and asks you to apply research, insight and technology.

Responsibilities

• Build the structure, layout and functionality of landing pages and websites with HTML5, CSS3 and JavaScript (ES6+).
• Code email templates that render correctly across email clients, within the limits of the platform used (Salesforce Marketing Cloud or other tools).
• Write clean, reusable and technically sound code files ready for deployment.
• Advise on whether creative and strategic ideas are technically feasible, and turn Figma designs into working interfaces.
• Own ongoing testing and refinement of campaigns, checking compatibility across browsers and email clients and debugging with browser developer tools.
• Make sure every deliverable meets WCAG accessibility standards and complies with CAN-SPAM and GDPR.
• Track industry trends and current technology, and help set future-facing standards for the team.
• Act as a proactive technical partner, shaping decisions on tooling and processes and managing risk so customers get strong outcomes.
• Juggle several projects at once in a fast-moving setting, setting your own deadlines to meet tight timelines without cutting quality.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of front-end web development experience with HTML5, CSS3 and JavaScript (ES6+).
• At least 2 years of experience with email development platforms.
• At least 2 years of experience with responsive, mobile-first design principles.
• Preferred: an Associate's Degree.
• Preferred: 2+ years with modern JavaScript and web frameworks (Tailwind, React, Angular or Vue.js) and TypeScript for type-safe code.
• Preferred: 1+ years using Generative AI tools (such as Gemini, Claude, GitHub Copilot, Windsurf or Cursor) to speed up coding and refine technical solutions.
• Preferred: experience with Git and version control workflows, CI/CD pipelines and modern deployment environments.
• Preferred: a solid grasp of user interface (UI) and user experience (UX) design principles.
• Preferred: 2+ years of experience with Ampscript for dynamic personalisation and logic in emails.
• Comfort working independently as well as in a collaborative team, with a self-starter attitude.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with a preference for building systems that stay maintainable over time.
• Clear written and verbal communication and presentation skills for working with business strategy partners and data engineers.
• A curious mindset that questions limits and considers multiple viewpoints to find better solutions.
• An eye for patterns and small improvements in everyday team work.
• A drive to use tools to automate repetitive tasks and build adaptable, scalable systems.

Conditions

Full-time base salary in Plano, TX is $87,700 to $100,100 for the Sr. Associate, Marketing title. Pay in other locations follows that location's range, and the exact salary is stated in the offer letter.

Part-time pay is prorated according to the agreed weekly hours.
