Description

The AI and Automation Supply Chain Business Transformations team sits within the company Operations and is building decision intelligence for the company's supply chain on Palantir Foundry and AIP.

You will work directly with planners and supply-chain experts to turn their decision logic into production tools: governed data pipelines, Ontology models, analytical functions, operational interfaces and AI agents that people rely on daily and that have been tested for trust.

The role combines Palantir engineering, applied AI and supply-chain transformation, and the work shapes how a leading AI company runs its own supply chain.

Responsibilities

  • Build and own production supply-chain applications on Foundry and AIP: data pipelines, Ontology object, link and action types, analytical functions, Workshop and OSDK interfaces, and controlled actions.
  • Turn business rules, constraints and exception procedures from planners into documented, versioned, testable code.
  • Pick the right mix of analytics, optimization and language models for each use case, based on its correctness, reliability and performance needs.
  • Own automated testing and validation across application code, pipelines, business rules and agent workflows. Agree acceptance criteria with domain experts and enforce checks before every release.
  • Use AI coding tools, but review generated code, check assumptions and verify behavior against independently defined expected results.
  • Build evaluation datasets from approved scenarios and past decisions. Test edge cases, repeatability, permissions, failure recovery, and changes to models, prompts, tools and data.
  • Set agent autonomy limits, human-in-the-loop steps and escalation paths for AIP supply-chain use cases.
  • Track cycle time, manual effort, exception resolution and decision quality. Use user corrections and outcomes to guide changes.
  • Gather design requirements, write user stories, lead technical design reviews and documentation, run end-to-end integration testing, and support UAT and hypercare.

Requirements

  • Hands-on production delivery on Palantir Foundry and AIP, including Python or Pipeline Builder transforms, Ontology design, Workshop or OSDK apps, AIP Logic and Functions, and data connection sources, with ownership after go-live.
  • Working knowledge of Foundry governance and release management: projects, roles, markings, branching, and promotion across development, UAT and production.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 12+ years of experience in software architecture, systems design or enterprise platform engineering.
  • Strong Python and SQL skills, with experience connecting ERP, planning and ITSM systems through APIs, data connectors or custom services.
  • A proven record of implementing complex business rules and explaining how their correctness was established.
  • Strong automated testing, debugging and release practices, including validating AI-assisted development and LLM-based workflows.
  • Practical experience integrating and evaluating language models, including open models such as the company Nemotron.
  • Ability to work directly with operational users, resolve unclear requirements and deliver maintainable software.
  • Clear communication skills, with the ability to explain complex designs and build trust across technical and business audiences.
  • Nice to have: supply-chain, manufacturing, planning or operations research experience.
  • Nice to have: constraint optimization, simulation and scenario analysis experience.
  • Nice to have: TypeScript development and advanced Palantir application development.
  • Nice to have: agentic frameworks and patterns (RAG pipelines, multi-agent orchestration, vector search), and the company NeMo Guardrails or GPU-optimized inference stacks.
  • Nice to have: containerized deployments, Kubernetes, hybrid cloud or on-prem environments, and evidence of measurable gains from systems used in daily operations.
