Security Engineer (New York)

Description

The company protects more than 100,000 organizations worldwide from cyber and AI-driven threats.

Its prevention-first approach covers hybrid networks, cloud environments, digital workspaces and AI systems, aiming to stop attacks before they happen.

You would work with the sales team on customer engagements across these areas.

Responsibilities

• Partner with sales to find new prospects.
• Show the full range of the company's solutions that protect organizations from threats and safeguard their operations and data.
• Teach customers, prospects and partners about the technical, operational and business problems organizations face, and how the company's products address them.
• Run meetings with prospects and existing customers to uncover their problems and recommend suitable solutions.
• Answer technical questions, advise on best practice and run proof-of-concept projects.
• Write responses to RFIs and RFPs.
• Keep key partners and customers informed on the newest security technologies.
• Take part in cybersecurity events.

Requirements

• You have 5+ years of experience in engineering and pre-sales.
• You bring strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• You have a solid understanding of how typical customer networks are built.
• You can design an end-to-end security solution for a customer's environment.
• You communicate and present with excellence.
• Relevant certifications are highly preferred, for example CCNP, CISSP, CCSA or CCSE.
• You must be eligible to work in the US now and in the future without sponsorship from an employer.

Conditions

The role is based in New York.

The base wage estimate is $150,000 - $190,000, set by factors such as location, experience, certifications and business needs, and not adjusted for geographic differentials for the location where the role may be filled.

The role is also eligible for sales incentive pay based on revenue or utilization, depending on plan terms and role, allocated by individual performance.
