Description

The company is a security platform provider. Its Zero Trust Exchange connects users, devices and applications from any location, runs from more than 200 public data centers worldwide plus many private edge sites, and is described as the largest in-line cloud security platform of its kind.

The team sits in the Global Security Compliance department and helps customers and internal teams work through compliance frameworks such as Zero Trust, GDPR, NIST, PCI and HIPAA, linking each requirement to how the company protects customer data.

This is a remote role reporting to the Director of the Global Security-Compliance Practice. The work is client-facing, involving deals, customer calls, webinars and conference stages, rather than back-office audit work.

Responsibilities

  • Speak for the practice with customers on calls, in webinars and at conferences, showing how compliance speeds up deals rather than delaying them.
  • Map compliance frameworks to the company's capabilities one control at a time, using a published method and labelling each control as met, partly met, supported, or left to the customer.
  • Turn lessons from individual deals into reusable playbooks and assets so the wider field can answer faster and more consistently.
  • Coach sales engineers and account executives to handle routine compliance questions on their own, keeping every conversation anchored to protecting customer data.
  • Be the first point of contact for security questionnaires and customer assessments, completing them accurately and quickly without overstating capabilities, and gathering the evidence and documents needed to back up each answer.

Requirements

  • Show ownership and real commitment to the mission, moving between strategy and hands-on delivery to produce high-quality results.
  • Be a trusted partner who welcomes feedback, sets high ambitions for the team, and communicates directly and respectfully.
  • Enjoy building and iterating in practice, balancing technical work with delivering value quickly.
  • Make complex technical and compliance topics clear, turning them into simple, practical plans and messages.
  • Stay calm when pace is high, treat setbacks as learning, and help others through complexity with flexibility.
  • Have a working understanding of AI and ML and experience using, securing or positioning AI-driven solutions in your area.
  • Understand the company product, or be able to learn it quickly, so you know what the platform does before stating which requirements it meets.
  • Have working knowledge of major frameworks such as NIST 800-53, NIST 800-171, ISO 27001, DORA, GDPR, or regional equivalents, and pick up new ones quickly.
  • Understand security, data security and compliance in depth, including security architecture, how data is protected in transit and at rest, and how frameworks formalize these.
  • Translate between technical, compliance, business and sales perspectives.
  • Have worked in sales or customer-facing teams and favour giving good answers quickly over waiting for perfect ones.
  • Preferred qualifications:
  • Have a proven record of using AI tools and workflows to produce measurable gains in operational efficiency.
  • Hold compliance or security certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, ISO 27001 LA, CCP, CCA, or similar.
  • Have experience in federal, SLED, healthcare or other regulated sectors. Eligibility for a US security clearance is a plus.
  • Have presented at industry events or built enablement content, and be willing and able to travel within the US up to 10%.
