Sales & Marketing Specialist - Grid Automation

Description

You will join the Grid Automation team in France at the company's Massy base and help grow the business, mainly in the French market.

Understanding what the company's technologies can do and forecasting how markets will change are central to the role. Helping customers run more efficiently, use resources better and cut emissions feeds directly into the energy transition.

You will work closely with local sales staff, customers and engineers, with substantial responsibility for France and exposure to a wider European organisation at the leading edge of power grid digitalisation.

The company's automation and communication products digitise energy networks, raise operational efficiency, strengthen security and support customers over the full life of their installations.

Responsibilities

• Grow sales of the company's Grid Automation solutions in France.
• Report to the Market Manager France and build lasting customer relationships by finding the solutions that fit each customer's needs.
• Lift sales volume and margins across the full Grid Automation range.
• Learn customers' needs in depth and deliver strong service based on your knowledge of the company's Grid Automation solutions.
• Draw up sales plans and prepare commercial offers with marketing, engineering and other relevant teams.
• Check that every commercial proposal is technically and financially accurate.
• Track sales opportunities regularly and help the team reach its targets.
• Act on the company's core values of safety and integrity: own your actions, look after colleagues and protect the business's interests.

Requirements

• A Master's degree, a Bachelor's degree (Licence) or an equivalent qualification in electrical engineering or a closely related technical field.
• Essential knowledge of high-voltage and/or medium-voltage substations.
• Ideally 2 to 3 years' experience in automation, telecommunications or selling technical solutions.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Advanced French and English, spoken and written.
• A collaborative, proactive, solution-focused approach.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to deal with both technical and commercial contacts.
• Availability to travel and visit customers across France.

Conditions

Based in Massy, Île-de-France, France. Full-time. Not remote.

The final offer depends on candidate location, skills, qualifications and experience, and follows the internal pay structure.
