  • Own the technical side of customer engagements by answering technical questions, giving consultative guidance, and running Proof-of-Value projects and Cyber Workshops.
  • Show prospects and existing clients the full set of products that protect organisations and their information from threats.
  • Run customer meetings to uncover problems and propose matching solutions.
  • Help write responses to RFIs and RFPs with the relevant bid teams.
  • Enable key partners and customers on current cyber security technologies.
  • Take part in cyber security events.
  • Keep activity reports current and keep the manager informed in good time.

Requirements

  • Hold a degree in computer engineering, computer science or information systems, or have equivalent industry experience.
  • Bring a minimum of 3-5 years of relevant engineering and pre-sales experience.
  • Have strong network security knowledge and hands-on experience with the company's security gateways or a comparable solution.
  • Show strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Understand typical customer architectures and their security needs well.
  • Put the customer first, with experience working with medium to large enterprises.
  • Design end-to-end security solutions for a customer's environment.
  • Communicate and present excellently, in writing and in person.
  • Work well in a distributed team, with a strong sense of teamwork.
  • Fluent English, written and spoken.
  • Exposure to network, cloud and endpoint security is advantageous.
  • Relevant certifications such as CCNP, CISSP, CCSA or CCSE are highly preferred.

Conditions

Based in Canberra.

An active Australian Federal Government security clearance is preferred, or you must be able to obtain one upon appointment.

Benefits

  • Work with award-winning cyber security technologies.
  • Get to know the people who build the company's cutting-edge technology.
