Description

The company builds a platform that lets large enterprise engineering teams run their software organizations as autonomous software factories, where software helps build and improve itself.

Customers include Nvidia, Blackstone, Royal Bank of Canada (RBC), Palo Alto Networks, Adobe and T-Mobile. They use the platform to ship code, review pull requests, run tests and deploy continuously.

In 2026 the company raised $200M at a $5B valuation, bringing total funding to over $400M. Investors include Khosla Ventures, Sequoia, Blackstone, Ali Ghodsi (CEO of Databricks) and Frank Slootman (former CEO of Snowflake).

The company is hiring a Solutions Engineering Manager to build its Enterprise Solutions Engineering team. The team covers the whole customer lifecycle, before and after the sale: discovery, demos, proofs of concept, security and architecture reviews, pilot delivery, and adoption and expansion once a customer is live.

You will shape the team from the start, decide how it works, and be accountable for both technical wins and production results on the company's fastest-growing Enterprise accounts. This is a hands-on role at zero-to-one stage, sitting between Sales, Product and Engineering. You will work directly with Enterprise Sales leadership and closely with Product and Engineering.

Responsibilities

  • Define the hiring profile, recruit the first Solutions Engineers, and grow the team as the Enterprise pipeline grows
  • Design and refine the team's playbook for every stage: discovery, pilot scoping, success metrics, security and compliance reviews, production rollout, and adoption and expansion
  • Track and report technical win rate, time to technical win, pilot-to-production conversion, and post-sales adoption and expansion to GTM leadership, and use those numbers to coach the team
  • Work with Sales leadership and Account Executives to run strong technical discovery, demos and proofs of concept that connect to customer outcomes
  • Carry accounts yourself while the team ramps up, and act as the escalation point for complex evaluations, at-risk deployments and high-stakes Enterprise deals, including conversations with CTOs, VPs of Engineering and security leaders
  • Onboard, coach and develop Solutions Engineers, set clear expectations, career paths and performance standards, and shorten ramp time with structured enablement
  • Bring customer and prospect insight back to Product and Engineering as the team's voice in the field

Requirements

  • You do not need to meet every requirement to be a strong candidate. If the role interests you and your experience is related, the company encourages you to apply.
  • 4+ years leading Solutions Engineering, Field Engineering, Solutions Architecture or customer engineering teams in enterprise software, covering both pre-sales and post-sales, including at least one team you built or scaled from a small start
  • A proven record of sourcing, assessing and closing senior technical customer-facing hires
  • Strong technical grounding and fluency in modern software development workflows, developer tooling, CI/CD and AI coding tools
  • Experience working with Sales while protecting technical integrity and customer trust
  • Ability to work under pressure with customers, including taking over a stalled evaluation or a struggling deployment and moving it forward
  • Operational discipline: you track technical win rates and pilot outcomes and manage a team by the data rather than by anecdote
  • Executive presence and clear communication with developers, architects and CTOs
  • A builder and player-coach mindset, comfortable in a fast-moving startup and comfortable creating structure where none exists
  • Hands-on experience with agentic coding tools, LLM-based products or developer platform sales
  • Background as a software engineer or in a technical consulting role
  • Experience standing up a new team or function at a high-growth company
