Description

The company designs identity management and data protection solutions that help banks, governments and businesses secure their digital interactions. More than 30,000 organizations use its technology to verify identities, control access to digital services, analyze large volumes of data and encrypt information.

The company employs 80,000 people in 68 countries.

This role sits within the QHSE function. Its purpose is to lead and coordinate health, safety and environment (HSE) activities across the organization and to make sure the Quality Management System works as intended.

The aim is full compliance with applicable HSE and quality rules, a strong safety culture, prevention of risks to people, the environment and assets, and support for operational excellence and customer satisfaction across the business lifecycle. HSE performance is the main priority.

Processes, practices and tools must be put in place and improved over time, in line with international standards, Group requirements and customer expectations.

Responsibilities

  • Build, roll out and keep improving the HSE management system to meet ISO 14001, ISO 45001, Group HSE policies and applicable legal requirements.
  • Make sure national and local HSE laws are followed, and act as the main contact for authorities, auditors and internal stakeholders on these matters.
  • Run risk assessments and hazard identification, and plan preventive actions for workplace safety, machinery and equipment, chemical and environmental risks, and ergonomics and occupational health.
  • Build a strong safety culture through training, awareness campaigns and regular presence on the shop floor.
  • Set, deploy and track HSE KPIs. Analyze incidents, near misses and unsafe conditions, and drive corrective and preventive actions.
  • Lead investigations into accidents, incidents and near misses, including root cause analysis and lasting corrective actions.
  • Organize emergency preparedness and response, including drills, evacuation plans and support during crises.
  • Manage environmental compliance for waste, emissions and energy use, and lead initiatives that reduce environmental impact.
  • Coordinate internal and external HSE audits and make sure findings and non-conformities are closed on time.
  • Support operational teams and managers on HSE questions so that HSE is part of daily work and decisions.
  • Implement and improve the Quality Management System to meet ISO 9001, Group quality standards and customer-specific requirements such as PCI, CQM and Bancomat.
  • Support general quality assurance so that processes, products and services meet their defined requirements.
  • Keep internal procedures current after organizational or operational changes.
  • Act as the quality point of contact for customers, handling their issues, complaints and feedback.
  • Handle customer complaints end to end: coordinate analysis, investigate root causes, define corrective actions and report back to customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Track customer satisfaction indicators and produce structured reports for management.
  • Manage third-party and customer audits, including preparation, coordination, support during the audit, corrective action plans and keeping certifications valid.
  • Carry out supplier audits and support supplier quality improvement projects.
  • Fully integrate HSE and quality processes into the corporate QHSE management system.
  • Apply a risk-based approach across operations, projects and support functions.
  • Provide QHSE data, analysis and reports to management to support decisions.
  • Support Lean and continuous improvement initiatives, making sure QHSE aspects are fully included.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in environmental, safety or quality engineering, or a related technical field such as industrial, mechanical, chemical, production or electronics engineering.
  • 3-5 years of experience in a QHSE, HSE or quality role in manufacturing or industrial settings.
  • Solid knowledge of HSE regulations, risk assessment methods and incident investigation techniques.
  • Proven experience with ISO 14001 and ISO 45001, and working knowledge of ISO 9001.
  • Familiarity with quality tools such as inspection and test plans, audits and non-conformity management.
  • Hands-on ability to analyze problems, troubleshoot and solve them in operational environments.
  • A strong commitment to safety, prevention and continuous improvement.

Conditions

The role is based at the Marcallo Con Casone plant.

Benefits

  • A mobility policy that lets thousands of employees each year build their careers at home or abroad, in their current field or in a new one.
  • A workplace that values flexibility as a smarter way of working.
