The company is hiring a Python software engineer for its AI Innovation Team.

The company is a global IT services provider present in 19 countries with more than 28,000 employees.

Responsibilities

• Build and upkeep scalable, maintainable Python applications.
• Take part in software architecture and technical design talks.
• Produce clean, well-tested, documented code that follows good practice.
• Join code reviews and help keep engineering standards high.
• Integrate, test, debug and maintain applications across several environments.
• Work with product managers, designers and engineers to turn business needs into technical solutions.
• Help estimate and prioritise features and suggest technical improvements.
• Find and fix performance, scalability and security problems.
• Help improve engineering processes, tooling and development practices.
• Keep technical documentation accurate and current.

Requirements

• Hold a bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering or a related field.
• Have 3+ years of professional Python development experience.
• Understand software engineering principles, including data structures, algorithms and design patterns.
• Have experience with Python frameworks such as Django, Flask or similar.
• Have worked with relational and/or NoSQL databases.
• Know REST APIs and software integration patterns.
• Be proficient with Git and collaborative development workflows.
• Have worked in Agile or Scrum teams.
• Understand software testing, including unit and integration testing.
• Speak fluent English.
• Be based in Lisbon.
