Description

The company is a global financial services firm focused on institutional trading, investment banking, research, and related brokerage. The parent bank, the fifth largest commercial bank in the U.S., acquired it in 2026. The team keeps its high-touch, client-first way of working while gaining that bank's scale and stability.

The company hires people from varied backgrounds and keeps an entrepreneurial culture, now backed by the parent bank's long-term commitment.

The company is looking for a senior project manager to lead high-impact technology projects and keep them aligned with business goals, timelines, budgets, and quality standards. You would run several projects at once, coordinate vendors and stakeholders, and report project health and outcomes to executives.

The ideal person pairs strong project and stakeholder skills with working knowledge of production technology, such as networking basics, infrastructure, and system environments.

Responsibilities

  • Take complex technology projects from planning through to production and lead their delivery.
  • Get business, technology, and vendor teams working toward the same priorities and decisions.
  • Manage scope, schedule, budget, risk, reporting, and issue resolution for each project.
  • Create dashboards and executive summaries that give visibility across the whole portfolio.
  • Use JIRA, Confluence, Microsoft 365, Power Platform (Power BI, Power Automate, and Power Apps), and generative AI for collaboration and reporting.
  • Oversee vendor relationships so that solutions meet business and technical standards.
  • Improve processes and keep reporting and project documentation current.

Requirements

  • You have 10+ years of experience leading large-scale technology and operations projects in financial services.
  • You have 5+ years of proficiency with Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall.
  • You understand front, middle, and back-office financial operations and the regulations that govern them.
  • You are advanced in the Microsoft 365 suite, Power BI, JIRA/Confluence, and workflow automation tools.
  • You have evaluated and implemented emerging technology such as generative AI, automation, and analytics solutions.
  • You communicate clearly, lead well, and manage stakeholders effectively.
  • Preferred: PMP, PMI-ACP, SAFe, Scrum Master, or Lean Six Sigma certification.
  • A plus: experience with mergers, integrations, or large-scale transformation.

Conditions

Pay depends on factors such as location, years of relevant experience, skills, qualifications, licensure and certifications, and other business needs.

The current estimated base salary range is $175,000.00 - $235,000.00 per year. Some positions also qualify for additional pay such as a discretionary bonus or overtime.

Accommodations for a disability are available during the application and hiring process.

Benefits

  • Benefits are designed around the whole person, at work and beyond it, to support your health, financial security, and peace of mind, along with your family's.
  • Healthcare: medical, dental, and vision
  • Basic term life insurance, with optional term coverage
  • Short-term and long-term disability coverage
  • Pregnancy disability and parental leave
  • 401(k) and an employer-funded retirement plan
  • Paid vacation of two to five weeks, depending on salary grade and tenure
  • Up to 11 paid holiday opportunities
  • Adoption assistance
  • Sick and safe leave accrues at one hour per 30 hours worked, up to 80 hours per calendar year unless the law provides otherwise
