Responsibilities

  • Learn the technical capabilities of the AI infrastructure and inference stack, including accelerated compute, networking, CUDA libraries, model architectures and deployment methods, by working with engineering, product and solution architecture teams.
  • Review inference developments such as model designs, serving frameworks and optimization techniques, including arXiv and industry papers, and identify where they connect to the platform's performance and cost.
  • Write blog posts, technical explainers, presentations, briefing materials and narrative frameworks that build awareness and thought leadership.
  • Work with PR, campaigns, analyst relations and developer marketing to distribute content across channels and widen its reach.
  • Own a defined summer project from research through to a published or presented deliverable.

Requirements

  • Working knowledge of AI and ML basics, including how models are trained and served and why inference is hard at scale.
  • Strong written and spoken communication, able to explain complex technical concepts to non-specialists.
  • Able to work independently with high-level feedback and move quickly.
  • Ways to stand out: familiarity with data center and accelerated computing concepts, deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch and JAX, and inference serving tools such as TensorRT-LLM, vLLM, SGLang, Triton Inference Server or similar.
  • Ways to stand out: published technical writing, blog posts or conference talks on AI systems, infrastructure or inference.
  • Ways to stand out: experience with hyperscale cloud providers or large-scale AI infrastructure.
