Description

The company is a financial infrastructure platform for businesses, used by millions of companies, from very large enterprises to early-stage startups, to accept payments, grow revenue and open new business opportunities.

Its mission is to increase the GDP of the internet, and the team sees a lot of work ahead.

The company Terminal extends online businesses into physical locations. The Terminal team aims to make in-person payments as simple to accept as online payments through the company API, covering retail stores, pop-up shops and mobile point of sale at events.

Terminal is one of the company's fastest-growing products. It is being built into a unified commerce platform for global enterprises, with a single integration for in-person payments, fast and low-cost cross-border money movement, AI-driven optimizations and fraud protection, reporting, and varied payment methods.

Responsibilities

  • Own the end-to-end payments and commerce platform for enterprise users as product manager for enterprise success within Terminal Payments.
  • Talk with users and partners directly to learn what they need, and spot investments that can serve several businesses at once.
  • Turn those opportunities into products and integrations.
  • Set a multi-year strategy for enterprise payments in Terminal, align stakeholders on it, and convert it into roadmaps and measurable objectives and key results.
  • Run product discovery and roadmap discussions with enterprise users, weighing their specific needs against investments that help the wider the company platform.
  • Build integrations that extend Terminal for enterprises, such as gift cards, private-label credit cards, tax refunds and third-party point-of-sale systems.
  • Assess ways to meet enterprise loyalty and customer relationship management needs with the company-built offerings, and grow host-to-host capabilities for users running their own payment gateways.
  • Work with Core Payments, Optimized Checkout Suite and Agentic Commerce teams to ship integrated experiences and resolve technical and product trade-offs.
  • Coordinate with partnerships, marketing, legal and industry teams on user and partner needs, go-to-market work, and representing Terminal at trade shows and partner conferences.
  • Work with Product Strategy and Operations to provide in-person support and installation services for enterprise users.

Requirements

  • You meet the minimum requirements to be considered, and you are encouraged to apply if you do. Preferred qualifications are a bonus, not a requirement.
  • Minimum: 5+ years of product management experience, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum: experience with business-to-business products, ideally including building for enterprise scale.
  • Minimum: technical proficiency and systems thinking, ideally with a degree in engineering or computer science.
  • Minimum: strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication, with the ability to make complex concepts easy to understand.
  • Preferred: a proven record of execution in building payment products.
