Product Manager – GPC Asia Pacific - Ingleburn or Rowville

You will join a product management and sourcing team in the automotive sector.

The role centres on growing categories, shaping product strategy and running sourcing projects that bring new ranges to market and lift profit.

Responsibilities

• Shape and run product ranges across Australia and New Zealand, from launch through to end of life.
• Working with suppliers and internal teams, spot growth openings, improve product performance, lead sourcing work, and keep the range competitive and in step with demand.
• Build and manage range and lifecycle plans.
• Support category plans and push for profitable growth.
• Find and introduce new products and suppliers.
• Lift the performance and sales of Own Brand products.
• Track market, competitor and pricing movements.
• Propose range optimisation and rationalisation.
• Forecast demand and sales for new products.
• Hold product quality, specifications and packaging to standard.
• Keep catalogue and product data accurate.
• Provide product training, technical information and sales support.
• Monitor market share and category metrics.
• Work with internal stakeholders and supplier partners.

Requirements

• You bring proven product management experience.
• You have strong commercial judgement and category management skills.
• You have sourced products and managed suppliers.
• You negotiate well and handle stakeholders with confidence.
• You analyse data thoroughly and make decisions from it.
• You have managed product lifecycles and range performance.
• You read market trends and competitor moves well.
• You solve problems and think strategically.
• You have built sales forecasts and business plans.
• You can manage programs and projects.
• You know quality assurance and product compliance.
• You have intermediate Microsoft Office skills.
• Preferred: experience with automotive, industrial or technical products.
• Preferred: a tertiary qualification or trade background.

The role is based in Ingleburn or Rowville.
