Description

The company builds enterprise software that puts automation to work, and it is a fast-moving growth company looking for people who are curious, self-driven, generous and genuine.

This role owns what happens after a person first meets the product through a sign-up page, a template or a first automation.

Your job is to work out why people adopt, stay with or leave the products, then build and ship the changes that shift those numbers.

This is mainly an engineering role: you write production code across the platform, from the first landing page to a user publishing their first automation.

You also set the product direction by choosing the problem, defining success and proving the result with data.

You would be a founding engineer on a highly visible team, working directly with senior engineering and product leaders.

You get room to act as a mini CTO for your own ideas, building on the newest parts of the company's agentic automation platform and changing how people find and adopt it.

Your work will show up quickly in the company-wide numbers.

You are encouraged to apply even if you do not meet every point below, since experience takes many forms.

Responsibilities

  • Help set the growth metrics the team owns, from sign-up and trial activation through to upgrade.
  • Dig into product telemetry and public signals such as forums, social media and video comments to spot where users get stuck and why.
  • Turn each finding into a testable hypothesis, then build, ship and A/B test the fix yourself.
  • Change any part of the codebase a fix requires instead of passing it to another team.
  • Lean on AI coding agents as your team to move ideas to production quickly.
  • Present each experiment to engineering, product, design and leadership, covering the reason for it, the success criteria and what you learned.

Requirements

  • Principal-level engineering experience, with recent hands-on work shipping full-stack production code in TypeScript, React and backend services, or similar.
  • You build with AI as a default, use coding agents every day and can explain your workflow in detail.
  • A record of growth, activation or funnel work at a product-led company, with metrics you personally moved.
  • Strong product sense: you spot the problem, propose the solution and decide how to measure it without waiting for a spec.
  • You move fast with a small footprint and have delivered real results without a large team behind you.
  • Clear written and spoken communication, including making a case to senior leaders.
  • Growth experience at an enterprise product-led company where self-serve users become business customers.
  • You have made documentation, APIs and discovery work well for AI agents as the users.
  • A public footprint through talks, posts, open-source work or content developers actually read.
  • Familiarity with automation, workflow or developer-platform products.

Conditions

Flexibility on when and where work gets done is available for many roles, and the mix of hybrid, office-based and remote staff varies by team and business need.

Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis with no fixed deadline. The window may change with application volume or close early once a qualified candidate is selected.
