Description

Life at UiPath

The people at UiPath believe in the transformative power of automation to change how the world works. We’re committed to creating category-leading enterprise software that unleashes that power.

To make that happen, we need people who are curious, self-propelled, generous, and genuine. People who love being part of a fast-moving, fast-thinking growth company. And people who care—about each other, about UiPath, and about our larger purpose.

Could that be you?

Your mission

We're seeking a Principal Product Manager to help advance our Agentic Automation vision by making UiPath the best place to build agents without writing code. You'll shape how builders create two kinds of agents. Autonomous agents carry out tasks inside business processes. Conversational agents work directly with people. Your scope covers Agent Builder end to end and the agent experiences inside our Maestro canvases. It also covers AI assisted features built into these experiences: Autopilot, our platform-native coding agent, and Agent Reviewer, an agentic validator that checks an agent's quality and suggests improvements before it ships. You'll bring all of this together by turning shared platform capabilities like tools, context, memory, guardrails, and evals into a setup experience that feels effortless.

This is a high-agency, AI-native role. You won't be running status meetings. You'll be deep in the product: building agents, prototyping with coding agents, talking with customers and FDEs, and turning what you learn into crisp direction for the engineers who build it. Influence, not headcount, will be your default leverage.

Your north star is simple. Builders should go from idea to production-ready agent faster on UiPath than anywhere else. Their agents should be capable enough for real business processes and dependable enough that enterprises trust them with non-deterministic work.

Responsibilities

  • Set the multi-year vision for low-code agent building on UiPath, across autonomous and conversational agents, in Agent Builder and across our Maestro canvases.
  • Own Agent Builder end to end. That covers how builders define an agent's goal, instructions, tools, context, and outputs, and how they test, debug, and publish it.
  • Shape Autopilot's agent-building experience: what it can build from a description, how it reasons about a process, and how it hands its work back to the builder for review.
  • Lead Agent Reviewer, which tells builders whether an agent is ready for production and what to fix first. Partner with the governance, evals, and ML teams on how agents are scored.
  • Design how builders set up shared capabilities (tools, context, memory, guardrails, evals) inside the builder, working alongside the teams that own each engine.
  • Define how low-code agents fit into complex business processes alongside deterministic workflows, with clear contracts for when to use each.
  • Partner with our largest and most demanding customers on production deployments. Go deep enough to know which step failed and what would fix it.
  • Use the platform as a builder. Stand up agents, wire them into real processes, and use coding agents aggressively to prototype and ship reference implementations. If a point needs a working example, build one.
  • Translate the fast-moving landscape of agent builders, conversational AI, and AI-assisted development into a coherent UiPath point of view and a shipping product.
  • Define the metrics that matter, such as time from idea to published agent, the share of agents that pass review on the first attempt, task success in production, and builder retention. Then prioritize ruthlessly against them.
  • Represent UiPath's low-code agent story to customers, partners, and industry forums.
  • What you'll bring to the team
  • 6+ years in technical product management or engineering, with an emphasis on low-code or no-code platforms, builder tools, conversational AI, or applied agentic AI. You have a proven record of shipping products that builders love and rely on.
  • Hands-on experience building low-code platforms, agent builders, or conversational AI products. You've made powerful systems simple without hiding what matters.
  • Deep fluency in agentic AI: models, tool calling, MCP and A2A, coding agents, agent design patterns, memory, guardrails, evals, and observability. You can read an agent trace and see right away what went wrong.
  • A clear view of how deterministic automation and non-deterministic agents should compose, and where each belongs in a real business process.
  • A builder's posture and a bias for action. You use coding agents to test ideas and ship prototypes rather than writing specs and waiting.
  • A first-principles mindset and comfort with ambiguity. You can reach a defensible direction in days, not quarters.
  • Sharp communication: a position doc that inspires bold decisions, a technical explanation a skeptical architect trusts, a demo that closes the room.
  • Comfort working in regulated, on-prem, and hybrid environments.
  • Ideal background
  • Built low-code, agent-building, conversational AI, or automation products at a frontier lab, hyperscaler, or automation vendor, or as an early PM at a startup in the space.
  • Has taken a product from 0 to 1 and felt the weight of it. Startup or founding PM experience is strongly preferred.
  • Has a point of view, with receipts, on how non-developers will build agents over the next 24 months.
  • Maybe you don’t tick all the boxes above—but still think you’d be great for the job? Go ahead, apply anyway. Please. Because we know that experience comes in all shapes and sizes—and passion can’t be learned.
  • Many of our roles allow for flexibility in when and where work gets done. Depending on the needs of the business and the role, the number of hybrid, office-based, and remote workers will vary from team to team. Applications are assessed on a rolling basis and there is no fixed deadline for this requisition. The application window may change depending on the volume of applications received or may close immediately if a qualified candidate is selected.
