The company is a global media agency within a larger media group, with deep expertise in financial services and the B2B2C market.

It works with more than 80 global financial services clients and combines strategy, technology and data-driven solutions.

The New York office is growing, and this role leads paid search for several B2B financial services clients, mixing hands-on platform work, strategy, client partnership and collaboration with other teams.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, run and keep improving paid search campaigns on Google Ads, Microsoft Ads (Bing) and other search platforms where relevant.
  • Manage paid search programs day to day so campaigns move toward each client's business goals and KPIs.
  • Watch campaign pacing, forecast results and manage budgets to spend efficiently and hit targets.
  • Act as the main paid search contact for assigned clients, learning their business lines, marketing goals and digital setup.
  • Review campaign data and turn it into insights, optimizations and strategic recommendations.
  • Produce regular performance reports, weekly, monthly and quarterly, covering findings, lessons and next steps.
  • Build, fix, optimize and test campaigns directly in the platforms, looking for new ideas and efficiency gains.
  • Work with Strategy, Analytics and Planning teams to deliver integrated search and digital media solutions.
  • Work with publishers and technology vendors to keep up with new features, betas and best practices.
  • Help develop points of view, standard methods and process documentation.
  • Take part in client and internal training on paid search practices, platform changes and industry trends.
  • Apply careful attention to detail and paid search best practices across the whole campaign lifecycle.

Requirements

  • A bachelor's degree is required; a degree in advertising, marketing, economics, finance, computer science, mathematics, engineering or a related field is preferred.
  • At least 4 years of digital media experience, with a strong focus on paid search at an agency or in-house.
  • Advanced working knowledge of Google Ads and Microsoft Ads, plus a Google Ads (AdWords) certification.
  • Experience with SA360 and other bid management platforms is preferred.
  • A strong grasp of campaign performance metrics, KPIs and paid search optimization levers.
  • Experience with analytics and measurement tools such as Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, Claravine and/or MOAT is strongly preferred.
  • Experience buying Discovery and YouTube inventory is a plus.
  • A solid understanding of the wider digital media landscape and how paid search fits with other channels.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to explain insights and recommendations clearly.
  • Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills.
  • Strong organization and project management skills, with the ability to juggle several priorities in a fast-paced setting.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and other MS Office tools.
  • A collaborative team player with a growth mindset and a drive to keep learning.
  • Financial services experience is preferred but not required.
