Network and Security engineer

The Network Services team designs and delivers network solutions across the full solution lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement local and wide-area network solutions across several platforms and protocols, including IP and VOIP, to meet customer requirements.
• Troubleshoot network faults and work with vendors to install current routers, switches, and related hardware and software.
• Review project requirements, pass them accurately to the team, and confirm they are met.
• Handle project implementation, planning, cost analysis, and proof-of-concept builds on networking systems.
• Prepare customers for implementation, go-live, and ongoing maintenance with high-quality technical solutions.
• Act as the go-to technical expert for customers, keeping their networks running smoothly.

• 6+ years supporting, configuring, and implementing networks.
• 6+ years in core switching, routing, MPLS, and firewalls.
• Experience supporting networking and security architecture and engineering across local, regional, and global environments.
• Ability to run several IT projects and meet their deadlines with limited supervision.
• Optional: Experience with Application Centric Infrastructure (ACI) deployment and data centers.
• Optional: Experience designing and implementing Software Defined Networks (SDN) and large, complex networks.
• Optional: Experience with protocols and technologies such as BDP, OSPF, MP-FBP EVPN, VXLAN, or VPC.
