The company designs, builds, runs and modernizes the mission-critical technology systems that organizations rely on every day.
The role sits in the Global Modernization Center of Excellence and combines hands-on building with client-facing leadership on agentic AI and application modernization.
Large enterprises run decades of business-critical applications, and agentic AI gives them a chance to rebuild those systems. You will work with Fortune 100 clients across industries.
Success looks like clients treating you as a trusted advisor on complex modernization decisions, your pilots and MVPs reaching production with measurable value, your estimates and SOWs holding up in delivery, and you becoming a go-to voice in the COE who shares reusable patterns and assets.
Responsibilities
Take a client's hardest modernization problem, turn unclear needs into a clear architecture and roadmap, and build a working demo, pilot or MVP that proves the value.
Stay on the engagement through delivery, guiding delivery teams and advising senior executives until the agreed outcomes are achieved.
Work across the full range, from focused engineering pilots to large agentic factories.
Build production-ready agentic AI demos, pilots and reference implementations, not slideware.
Use the company's agentic framework, AI intellectual property and proven modernization offerings rather than starting from a blank page.
Own a solution from scoping, estimates and SOW through delivery, and see your designs go live.
Run client discovery and AI readiness assessments to find high-value application modernization and agentic AI use cases.
Translate vague business needs into concrete technical architectures and implementation roadmaps.
Lead workshops, design sessions and architecture reviews that align business and technical stakeholders.
Advise senior client leaders on modernization and agentic AI adoption, using solution narratives that work for both executives and engineers.
Design target-state cloud-native and AI-native architectures built on microservices, APIs, containers and cloud-native patterns to replace legacy and monolithic applications.
Combine application, infrastructure, agentic SDLC and platform engineering skills into modernization solutions spanning public and private cloud.
Build agentic proofs of concept, pilots, MVPs and reference implementations that demonstrate measurable business value.
Define technical scope, PoC framing, assumptions, dependencies and baselines for each solution.
Estimate effort, cost, risk, timeline and team makeup using the company's solution calculator and related tools.
Write SOWs, RFP responses and technical proposal content, and contribute to commercial inputs.
Lead technical due diligence to confirm that proposed solutions are feasible and deliverable.
Work with sales, consulting, legal, delivery, engineering and COE teams to set up sound, deliverable engagements.
Provide technical leadership from pursuit through implementation to keep the solution faithful to its design and the client successful.
Bring in cloud, mainframe, network and edge specialists when a solution crosses domains.
Keep up with advances in AI, application and cloud technologies through ongoing learning and certification.
