The company is a mobile-first financial wellness platform that helps people manage their financial future. It uses AI to provide personalized insights and offers tools for instant access to cash and for building credit.
Founded in 2019 by Ed Harycki, a former Swift Capital founder whose company PayPal acquired in 2017. Backed by Khosla Ventures, with leaders who previously worked at PayPal, Square, and Cash App.
This is a hands-on engineering role that sits between marketing, engineering, data, product, and operations. You will own the technical systems behind acquisition, engagement, and retention, including marketing data, attribution, lifecycle automation, experimentation, ad platforms, and AI-driven workflows.
You will write code, connect APIs, design data flows, automate workflows, add tracking, and ship working solutions yourself. You also need to grasp the business problem behind each technical task, so you can debug an event payload, query a funnel in SQL, and work with a marketer to improve campaign results.
The aim is to make the growth team far more technical, automated, and data-driven, and able to move faster.
Within your first year, marketing should rely less on traditional engineering teams. Growth data should be more trustworthy, attribution more reliable, experiments easier to launch, lifecycle programs more advanced, and routine operational work increasingly handled by software and AI. The gap between an idea and testing it with customers should shrink considerably.
Responsibilities
Run and improve the growth tech stack, including the platforms and infrastructure for acquisition, attribution, lifecycle marketing, analytics, and experimentation.
Design and maintain the pipelines that move customer data, identities, audiences, events, and conversions across the data and marketing systems, keeping the data accurate, reliable, and accessible where it is needed.
Remove manual work from marketing, reporting, campaign operations, QA, and experimentation by applying solid engineering practices.
Build AI-based marketing agents and tools that create, launch, optimize, and iterate on campaigns, not only report on performance.
Build and maintain conversion tracking for Meta, Google, TikTok, AppsFlyer, web, and mobile, including pixels, SDKs, server-side events, UTMs, and deep links.
Build the data flows, triggers, audiences, and infrastructure that let teams run sophisticated lifecycle programs and experiments quickly.
Build landing pages, internal tools, scripts, automations, and light product experiences to test new growth ideas fast.
Use analytics tools to find funnel problems, measure experiments, spot opportunities, and improve growth results.
Test new AI, MarTech, advertising, and developer tools, and add the most useful ones to the stack.
Requirements
You build things: you write code, work with APIs, query data, debug integrations, and ship solutions on your own.
You understand growth, including acquisition, conversion, retention, lifecycle marketing, experimentation, attribution, and marketing return on investment.
You work across the stack. You do not need to be an expert in every mobile, backend, data, and web discipline, but you can work through unfamiliar systems and see how the parts connect.
You think in systems and understand how ad platforms, attribution, identity, event pipelines, warehouses, analytics, and lifecycle tools connect.
You look for manual processes and reach for software to handle them better.
You can tell when a problem needs production-grade architecture and when a prototype is enough to test an idea.
You translate business problems into technical solutions and work well with marketing, product, data, and engineering teams.
You have 6+ years in growth, MarTech, data, or software engineering, or a similar technical role.
You have strong TypeScript or Python skills and strong SQL skills.
You have built with APIs, webhooks, SDKs, and event-driven systems.
You have hands-on experience with several modern MarTech or data platforms, such as Segment, Hightouch, Braze, Amplitude, AppsFlyer, Snowflake, GA4/GTM, Meta CAPI, Google Ads, or TikTok Events API.
You understand event instrumentation, identity, attribution, conversion tracking, experimentation, and data quality.
You have used LLMs, agents, AI coding tools, or workflow automation to build real solutions.
You can take an unclear problem from idea to solution, implementation, and measurement.
Bonus: experience in a fast-growing consumer business with heavy paid acquisition spend.
Bonus: experience in FinTech or another heavily regulated industry.
Bonus: experience with experimentation platforms, feature flags, or personalization systems.
Bonus: experience building internal tools or data products for marketing or growth teams.
Bonus: familiarity with privacy and consent requirements and how they affect advertising, analytics, and customer data infrastructure.
You are encouraged to apply even if you meet most, but not all, of the requirements.
