Description

The Marketing Strategy & Operations team drives organizational effectiveness and leads transformational programs across Marketing, Self-serve, Startup and Sales Development, building the processes that let teams perform well while keeping the company's growth focused and disciplined.

The team works closely with the CMO and the Marketing and Sales Development leadership to set strategy, run operational planning, and oversee execution across global programs.

The company is a financial infrastructure platform used by millions of businesses, from large enterprises to early-stage startups, to accept payments, grow revenue, and open new business opportunities.

The work covers cross-functional efforts central to the company's growth, from strategic insights and frameworks to complex initiatives, with a focus on what moves the business most. The team values results over activity and enjoys the work. It is looking for analytical people who like hard problems and are strong teammates.

Responsibilities

  • Build the annual strategic plan and operating plan with the CMO and marketing leadership, setting the top priorities, planning how to achieve them, and assigning resources.
  • Define the most critical OKRs that give the company leadership clear, data-driven accountability for the strategy.
  • Own an agile, automated, data-driven reporting process and tool for managing OKRs.
  • Run the core business rhythms for the CMO, directing attention, reviews, and strategic guidance to the right areas at the right time.
  • Lead the content for monthly and quarterly business reviews for Marketing and Sales Development, working closely with Finance, GTM, and Corporate Operations.
  • Turn data into a clear story that aligns people on where the business is winning and where it needs to focus.
  • Use an AI-first approach to automate marketing reporting aggressively.
  • Independently scope and lead strategic programs that solve high-impact problems, including building frameworks, getting stakeholders aligned, and making sure execution produces measurable results.
  • Make sense of ambiguous situations by separating insight from noise, resolving issues quickly, and helping teams make confident decisions.
  • Carry out analysis and research that informs company strategy and long-term decisions.
  • Work directly with senior leaders and cross-functional partners to speed up progress, tackle difficult scaling challenges, and launch new programs.

Requirements

  • You must meet the minimum requirements to be considered. If you do, you are encouraged to apply.
  • Minimum requirements:
  • You have 10 years of experience in consulting, strategy and operations, business operations, product strategy, product management, or a similar role, with exposure to both business and technical work.
  • You have worked in highly cross-functional settings and in a role spanning strategy, analysis, and operations in a fast-paced environment.
  • You think critically from first principles and can step back to the most important questions.
  • You enjoy digging into data to diagnose business problems and solve them.
  • You communicate well in writing and speech, and can speak with leaders across product, engineering, analytics, sales, and partnerships.
  • You can execute with little guidance and in highly ambiguous situations.
  • Preferred qualifications (a bonus, not required):
  • Experience in payments, finance, fintech, or high-growth technology companies.
  • Experience working directly with C-level executives and their direct reports.
  • A background in marketing is a strong plus.
  • Experience working with large data sets and/or SQL.

Conditions

Equal opportunity: the company considers applicants regardless of background, as the law requires.
