This role leads a Professional Services Engineers team across Europe. The team delivers installation, migration, training, and advisory work across the full platform, mostly remotely and asynchronously. You are responsible for each engineer's performance, development, and daily management.

You work with Technical Architects and Professional Services management to keep delivery consistent across implementations, migrations, and statement of work engagements. The role is mainly about people, though you stay hands-on with technical work when needed. You will also build the team's operating rhythm, culture, and delivery approach so the practice can grow.

In the first year, the focus is on building team capability, making delivery more consistent, and setting up a strong services team for the region. The work is technically complex and customer-facing.

Example projects include leading engineers through end-to-end the company implementation and migration work for enterprise customers in Europe, and working with Sales, Customer Success, and Technical Architects to scope statements of work and assign the right technical people.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a team of Professional Services Engineers, supporting their growth, performance, and daily delivery work on customer engagements.
  • Coach and develop team members through regular 1:1s, feedback, and career conversations focused on technical and consulting skills.
  • Own delivery outcomes for your team's work, including implementations, migrations, advisory services, and statement of work engagements.
  • Watch project health, spot delivery risks early, and step in or escalate to keep customer work on track.
  • Work with Technical Architects, Engagement Managers, Sales, and Customer Success to plan, scope, staff, and support services engagements.
  • Track utilization, customer satisfaction, and escalation trends, and use them to improve team performance and operations.
  • Act as the senior escalation point for complex customer situations, guiding resolution and holding a high standard of service quality.
  • Help improve Professional Services processes, tooling, knowledge sharing, and delivery standards across the wider organization.

Requirements

  • Significant experience leading and developing high-performing technical teams in a customer-facing setting.
  • A solid technical background in software delivery, DevSecOps, platform engineering, or a related field, enough to take part in technical discussions with credibility.
  • Experience managing or supporting professional services, implementation delivery, migration programs, or technical consulting for enterprise customers.
  • A track record of handling customer escalations, balancing competing priorities, and getting clear results in complex situations.
  • Strong collaboration skills and the ability to work well with partners such as Sales, Customer Success, and Technical Architects.
  • A focus on accountability, quality, and measurable results over activity alone.
  • Ability to work fully remotely in an asynchronous organization, with strong written communication and organizational skills.
  • Alignment with the company's values and the ability to lead with transparency, trust, and a focus on developing people.

Conditions

The role is fully remote and based in Europe. The company hires across many countries, but some roles carry location-based eligibility requirements, which the Talent Acquisition team can clarify during the process.

The company is an equal opportunity employer and welcomes applicants with varied levels of experience.

Benefits

  • Flexible paid time off
  • Team member resource groups
  • Equity compensation and an employee stock purchase plan
  • Growth and development fund
  • Parental leave
  • Health, financial, and well-being benefits for full-time employees
