Description

The company is based in Denver, Colorado, with teammates across Brazil, Poland, the Philippines, and Mexico, and it is hiring a Lead, Lifecycle Marketing to run its lifecycle programs.

The company was founded in 2013 and builds tools that help home service professionals schedule, dispatch, take payments, and run their businesses. It supports more than 50,000 businesses and has over 2,000 teammates worldwide. It is a fast-growing startup backed by top-tier venture capital.

The team is small enough that career growth is a leadership priority, and the goal of every team is to help those professionals succeed.

The role is the lead for lifecycle campaigns across email, SMS, and in-app messaging, with a focus on engagement and conversions. You set strategy, run campaigns, and analyze results across channels, working with content, design, and analytics. Campaigns must be personalized, well timed, and compliant with the rules that apply to them.

Responsibilities

  • Build and run multi-channel lifecycle strategies across email, SMS, and in-app messaging
  • Create personalized content using Liquid and Mustache, including conditionals, loops, fallbacks, and data-driven blocks
  • Set up and debug webhooks that move real-time event and user data between the marketing platform, product, CRM, and third-party tools
  • Work with Product, Data, Martech, and Engineering to decide which events to track, which user attributes to capture, and what data triggers each journey
  • Partner with content and design to build campaigns that speak to specific customer segments
  • Split customer lists into segments and personalize messages so they reach the right people
  • Assemble email campaigns accurately so they are ready to deploy
  • Run A/B tests to improve campaigns, engagement, and conversions
  • Own the lifecycle marketing calendar so messages stay consistent across channels
  • Make sure campaigns follow GDPR, CAN-SPAM, and SMS rules, and keep up with industry changes
  • Track performance on every lifecycle channel, adjust based on key metrics, and give stakeholders clear recommendations

Requirements

  • A bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or a related field, or equivalent work experience
  • 5+ years of experience with email, SMS, and in-app messaging, including planning, running, and analyzing campaigns
  • Strong HTML and CSS, including table-based email layouts, inline styles, media queries, and fixes for how email clients render
  • Solid JavaScript for landing pages, forms, custom tracking, and data handling
  • Proven experience writing Liquid and/or Mustache templates for detailed personalization and conditional content
  • A working understanding of customer data models, segmentation, and event-based triggers
  • Experience with A/B testing, segmentation, and personalization across channels, with results that raised engagement
  • Knowledge of email and SMS compliance rules such as GDPR, CAN-SPAM, and TCPA
  • A plus: experience with a CDP such as Segment, mParticle, or RudderStack
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Attention to detail and creative problem solving
  • Ability to adjust to shifting priorities and hit deadlines
  • A proactive approach to getting better over time
  • Eagerness to learn and keep up with industry trends
  • Ability to juggle several tasks so messages and deployments go out on time
