Description

Your job is to create and expand the integrations and data flows that link systems across the company. On the software and core IT side of the transformation, you will connect Google Workspace, SaaS tools, enterprise AI platforms and the company's core business systems using secure, reusable and scalable patterns.

The role suits an experienced engineer who can deliver complicated integrations on their own, turn business and technical needs into workable designs, and ship production-grade pipelines that meet enterprise standards. You will work with product, engineering, technical program managers, security and business teams to keep data moving reliably and platforms interoperating, and you will create patterns other teams can reuse.

Responsibilities

  • Create reusable services, accelerators and reference templates so transformation teams handle common connectivity more consistently.
  • Keep integration designs in line with data standards, identity guidelines and security policies.
  • Work with security, privacy, identity, information lifecycle management and retention teams on workflows that handle sensitive or regulated data.
  • Assess incoming integration requests and recommend whether to use an approved platform capability, a configuration option or custom engineering.
  • Build and maintain resilient, observable integrations using APIs, webhooks, scripts, connectors and middleware.
  • Define source-to-destination mappings, transformation logic, exception handling and monitoring for dependable daily operations.
  • Move Microsoft-dependent workflows, legacy interfaces and older automations onto scalable, Google-aligned patterns.
  • Connect Google Workspace to core company platforms, including identity services, reporting, asset repositories and approved AI platforms.
  • Help run workflows that pass data between systems and trigger actions in them, end to end.
  • Design and support coexistence models so Microsoft, Google and internal platforms work together through phased migration waves.
  • Protect workflow continuity when historical data, inactive-user content or core systems stay on legacy platforms during transition.
  • Handle cutover sequencing, permissions validation, metadata mapping and stabilization after deployment.
  • Work directly with transformation product leads and TPMs in business units to fit Google capabilities into daily operations.
  • Lead technical design reviews, give implementation guidance and set engineering practices across the program.
  • Write technical designs, dependency maps, runbooks and handover materials that keep integrated solutions running long term.
  • Take part in validation, troubleshooting and hypercare during rollout and early adoption.

Requirements

  • You bring 7+ years of hands-on work in integration engineering, software engineering, platform architecture or enterprise application integration across intricate corporate settings.
  • You think in systems and can map dependencies across applications, data layers, identity services and business processes.
  • A bachelor's degree in a technical discipline such as computer science, IT or engineering, or practical experience that matches it.
  • Production-level Python skills and experience with core scripting or automation frameworks.
  • Broad experience building and running enterprise integrations with REST APIs, webhooks, middleware and ETL or data transformation logic.
  • A solid grasp of cloud integration patterns, modern application design, Git version control and troubleshooting integrations that span several systems.
  • A track record of building secure, maintainable links between SaaS tools and in-house systems.
  • You understand how authentication, authorization and access control frameworks work across an enterprise, including identity integration.
  • A history of working well with product managers, engineers, TPMs, security leads and business stakeholders.
  • Clear written and spoken communication, with the ability to explain tradeoffs, architecture risks and decisions to non-technical colleagues.
  • Preferred: You have directly helped run large moves from Microsoft 365 to Google Workspace, whether full migrations or coexistence setups.
  • Preferred: Familiarity with Google Workspace administration, its APIs, Google Apps Script and AppSheet.
  • Preferred: Experience linking workflows to data and AI tools such as Gemini Enterprise, Glean, AskGM and Databricks.
  • Preferred: Knowledge of data retention, ILM, privacy frameworks and controls for regulated data at large scale.
  • Preferred: Background in test automation, cutover preparation, data checks, hypercare and keeping solutions running long term.
