The role leads the design, build and delivery of digital products for the client onboarding and lifecycle management portfolio in the global engineering group.

The job combines hands-on technical leadership, raising engineering quality, and working with business and technology colleagues to ship scalable, secure, high-performing products.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, build and rollout of enterprise digital solutions that meet business and technical needs.
• Mentor and guide development teams, and set the standard for engineering practice.
• Review architecture, test coverage and code, and enforce development standards.
• Improve applications, data and event stores, covering logging, monitoring, reporting, dashboards and security administration.
• Promote Agile, DevOps, CI/CD and cloud engineering to speed up and steady delivery.
• Work with product, business and technology colleagues to shape solutions and set priorities.
• Track system health, fix stability and scaling problems, and keep improving the platform.
• Find technology, operational and security risks, apply controls, and fix vulnerabilities so applications stay reliable, resilient and compliant with regulation and governance.
• Keep work aligned with organizational standards, security policies and governance rules.

Requirements

• 5+ years of full-stack Java/JEE development.
• Solid skills in Spring Boot, REST APIs, microservices and web application development.
• Hands-on work with Oracle, SQL, Elasticsearch, MQ/Solace and enterprise integration technologies.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practice.
• Experience with Agile methods and Azure DevOps, including working in Agile environments.
• Working knowledge of Linux, cloud platforms, VMware, networking and security technologies.
• Strong analysis, problem-solving and communication skills.
• Proven record of leading technical initiatives and mentoring engineers.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering or a related field.
• 5, 7+ years of software engineering experience.
• A plus: experience with digital products, workflow automation and transaction services in financial services.

Conditions

Base pay ranges from $99,600 to $169,200 USD, a good-faith estimate.
