Lead Project Manager

Description

The role is a lead project manager post in Oslo, Norway, at a company with more than 130 years of experience in energy.

The company is working to electrify the world and cut carbon emissions, and its technology generates about 25% of the world's electricity today.

You would manage small to medium-sized energy projects, combining technical know-how, team leadership and work across internal departments.

Responsibilities

• Run projects from start to finish so they meet schedule, budget and quality targets.
• Coordinate people and resources across multidisciplinary teams to keep work moving efficiently.
• Build lasting customer relationships, meeting their needs and going beyond what they expect.
• Work with internal stakeholders to align project plans with wider business goals and functional practices.
• Use analysis and technical skill to resolve problems and propose new approaches.
• Coach team members informally to strengthen their project management abilities.

Requirements

• Be a self-motivated leader who can handle technical projects and stakeholders with competing interests.
• Analyze, plan and run programs with precision.
• Have experience carrying profit and loss responsibility on equipment-only or non-turnkey projects.
• Understand core business drivers and how they connect to project delivery.
• Know project management methodologies well and solve technical problems.
• Have a real interest in advancing energy infrastructure and clean power.
• Nice to have: a bachelor's or master's degree in a relevant engineering or business field. Total experience and professional achievements matter more.

Conditions

Hybrid working: split your time between the office and home.

Based at the Oslo office.
