Description

The company is a trade kitchen supplier ranked No1 in the UK and a FTSE 100 business.

It runs more than 900 depots across the country and employs more than 11,000 people.

Sales last year came to circa 2.3bn, and growth continues.

The business keeps a local feel and traditional values while staying entrepreneurial and commercial.

It has been named among the 10 Best Big Companies to Work For.

You do not need design experience to start, as comprehensive design and sales training is provided.

The work is designing kitchens for trade customers and the clients they serve.

It is a busy depot, so the team keeps things simple, works quickly and finishes the job.

Everyone pulls their weight and supports the others, and the team builds trust by doing what it says it will do.

The team culture is strong and is one of the things that sets the company apart.

Responsibilities

  • Hit your depot targets, growing sales and profit.
  • Negotiate prices with confidence, protecting margin and design integrity.
  • Visit clients at home to measure, assess and understand what they need.
  • Plan and produce designs that look good and work well in practice, drawing on your product knowledge to advise customers and resolve queries.
  • Deliver high-quality customer service through every stage of the project.
  • Build lasting customer relationships through professional design support.

Requirements

  • You have a full UK licence to drive and a car you can use for home visits.
  • You pay close attention to detail and have an eye for design.
  • Experience with CAD is preferred but not essential, as you will be trained.

Conditions

The working week is 40 hours.

You will not work evenings, Sundays or bank holidays.

You must hold a valid right to work in the UK, as sponsorship is not offered for depot roles at this time.

The company aims to be inclusive and will make adjustments to its recruitment process on request.

Benefits

  • Pay is competitive, with bonuses and depot incentives on top.
  • A training programme for the Kitchen Sales Designer role.
  • A pension with company contributions of up to 12%.
  • Up to 32 days of holiday a year including bank holidays, rising with length of service.
