Description

The company is a FTSE 100 business and the UK's leading supplier to trade kitchen customers, with more than 900 depots nationwide and over 11,000 staff.

Last year sales were circa 2.3bn and growth continues. Despite its size, the company still runs each depot like a local business with traditional values and a strong entrepreneurial streak.

The company was named one of the 10 Best Big Companies to Work For. Depots are busy, so the team keeps things simple, works fast, gets things right first time for customers, and pulls together as one team.

You do not need previous design experience. You will be trained in design and sales so you can create kitchens for trade customers and their clients.

Responsibilities

  • Drive sales and profit by hitting your depot's targets.
  • Build lasting customer relationships by giving professional design support.
  • Deliver high-quality customer service at every stage of a project.
  • Visit customers' homes to measure up and understand what the client needs.
  • Negotiate prices with confidence while protecting margin and design integrity.
  • Plan and create designs that are both inspiring and practical, using your product knowledge to advise customers and answer questions throughout the process.

Requirements

  • You are results focused and have experience of reaching sales targets and KPIs.
  • You are commercially minded and can influence buying decisions.
  • You can build trusted relationships with trade customers and their clients.
  • You communicate clearly and effectively, and can convey your ideas well.
  • You hold a full UK driving licence and have your own vehicle for home visits.
  • You pay close attention to detail and have an eye for design.
  • CAD skills are preferred but not essential, as you will receive training.

Conditions

You work 40 hours a week, with no evening, Sunday or bank holiday working.

You must have a valid right to work in the UK. The company does not offer sponsorship of employment for any depot positions at this time.

The company aims to be an inclusive employer where everyone feels welcome.

Benefits

  • Competitive salary, bonuses and outstanding depot incentives.
  • A Kitchen Sales Designer training programme.
  • An excellent pension plan with up to 12% company contribution.
  • Up to 32 days annual leave including bank holidays, with holiday entitlement rising with service.
  • A generous staff discount on the company's products.
  • A buy-as-you-earn share scheme.
  • Virtual GP access and wellbeing support for you and your family.
  • A share in the team bonus.
