IT Support Specialist (f/m/d)

Description

The role is an IT support position at a fast-growing company that builds rockets and launch services for small and medium-sized satellites and constellations in Low Earth Orbit. The company is privately funded by technology investors.

You will give Level 1 and Level 2 technical support to people inside and outside the company, keeping disruption to daily work as low as possible.

The work covers hardware, software and network faults, user account administration, enterprise application support, and help with IT projects and documentation.

You will work with the IT, cybersecurity, procurement and infrastructure teams to keep the IT environment secure and efficient.

Responsibilities

• Act as the first contact for support requests by phone, email, Teams, remote desktop and ticketing tools such as Jira.
• Work through service tickets quickly, escalate complex problems and follow up until they are closed.
• Support laptops, desktops, docking stations, mobile phones, tablets and printers.
• Install, set up and maintain desktops, laptops, printers and peripherals.
• Keep the IT equipment inventory current and manage hardware handover and return.
• Carry out basic troubleshooting for LAN, Wi-Fi, VPN (Netskope) and DNS/DHCP.
• Provide on-site IT support when building IT infrastructure for new offices or launch facilities.
• Record incidents, troubleshooting steps and fixes in Jira and Confluence.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in a corporate IT environment.
• Solid working knowledge of Windows, Microsoft Office 365 and Microsoft 365 administration.
• Experience managing ticketing systems.
• Strong skills in setting up hardware and software.
• Familiarity with scripting in Python and PowerShell.
• A self-directed way of working and good communication skills.
• Fluent English.
• You do not need to meet every single qualification to apply.
