Description

The company makes a trading, risk management and processing platform for capital markets, used by banks, asset managers, corporations and utilities worldwide.

Its 3 400 staff from over 65 nationalities work from 19 offices to build, deliver and support the platform.

This internship places you among functional consultants who sit between financial markets, technology and business. They work in Product teams that design and evolve the MX.3 platform, or in Client Services teams that deploy and tune it for major financial institutions.

Consultants cover trading, risk management, treasury, investment management, operations, collateral management and finance. You will be guided by experienced consultants and work on real business and technology problems.

Responsibilities

• Complete an onboarding program on financial markets, financial products and the MX.3 platform before joining project work with direct business impact.
• Depending on your assignment, analyze client business problems and turn business requirements into functional solutions.
• Help design, validate and improve MX.3 features.
• Support implementation projects, product enhancements and client initiatives for leading financial institutions.
• Work with clients, consultants, product managers and software engineers.
• Research new ideas where finance and technology meet, then present your findings to experts and stakeholders.

Requirements

• You are in your final year at an engineering school or hold an equivalent master's degree. A finance specialization is a plus.
• You are genuinely interested in financial markets, enjoy solving problems, and are comfortable with technology and complex systems.
• You are curious, analytical, and want to understand how financial institutions work.
• You communicate well and can summarize complex topics clearly.
• You work well in a team and take initiative with little supervision.
• You are fluent in English. French is a plus, depending on the team.

Assignments vary. Each one is built around a real business challenge and covers both functional and technical aspects of finance.

Recent project areas include: quantitative analysis of pricing, risk and P&L attribution models; portfolio construction, performance attribution and investment analytics; treasury transformation, liquidity management and balance sheet optimization; commodities, securities finance and equity derivatives workflows; collateral management and post-trade optimization; accounting, finance and regulatory reporting; AI-based tools for knowledge management, implementation efficiency and operational productivity; and design of new MX.3 features.
