Description

This is a hybrid role that requires about 2 days per week in a company office.

The company is a global edge-to-cloud business that helps other companies connect, protect, analyze and act on their data and applications, from the edge to the cloud.

The role sits in the engineering job family. Projects are usually shorter, less complex and more contained, with set goals and timelines. Programs run longer and cover several functions or projects with more complex requirements.

The role supports coordination of activities, resources, schedules, budgets and cross-company communication so products and projects finish on time and on budget. You will work with management to find ways to make processes and programs more efficient, sometimes with external parties and internal partners.

This is a limited-scope, team-member role. You will apply training, education or prior experience, give information, analysis and recommendations to support the team, and use independent judgment within set guidelines.

Responsibilities

  • Support one or more projects across one or more functions, and contribute to the development and implementation of service operations.
  • Draft parts of project documents, including budgets, resource allocation plans, schedules and other support materials, following agreed plans and detailed specifications.
  • Keep project communication moving by writing status reports and summaries, tracking issues and escalations until they are resolved, arranging stakeholder meetings and updates, and keeping project documents current.
  • Build good working relationships with internal and cross-functional teams involved in product development and manufacturing.
  • Coordinate resources within a defined workstream or area, and escalate risks, issues and decisions when needed.
  • Use the project management processes, tools and templates already in place to support project delivery.

Requirements

  • A bachelor's degree in business management, engineering, computer science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Typically 0 to 2 years of relevant experience.
  • Familiarity with project planning tools and software applications.
  • Basic analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication.
  • The ability to organize information, track actions and meet deadlines while working with global cross-functional teams.
  • English proficiency and, where required, the local language.

Conditions

The base salary range in the United States is USD 57,500 to 130,000 a year in Minnesota. Final offers may differ based on location, experience, education, training or skill level.

Variable incentives may also be offered on top of base salary.

The company is an equal opportunity employer and makes decisions based on qualifications, merit and business need.

Applicants with disabilities are welcome, and accommodation requests can be made during any stage of the process.

The company will follow applicable laws on the use of arrest and conviction records in hiring.

Benefits

  • Health and wellbeing benefits covering physical, financial and emotional wellbeing for team members and their families.
  • Career development programs to help you reach your goals, including becoming a subject expert or moving into another division.
