Improvement Engineer - Production specialist

Description

The company produces and packages veterinary medicines. Production is organized into several Integrated Process Teams and Centers of Excellence.

The Inactivated Vaccines and Pharmaceuticals team formulates and fills inactivated vaccines and pharmaceutical products under Good Manufacturing Practice and Environment, Health & Safety rules.

This is a Production Specialist role in Boxmeer, within the Inactivated Vaccines and Pharmaceuticals team. You will help keep vaccines made safely, reliably, cost-effectively and in line with GMP guidelines and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Lead site-wide and business unit projects, including product transfers.
• Act as the subject matter expert on product quality questions.
• Lead and take part in cross-functional investigations.
• Write proposals and business cases for improvement projects.
• Monitor and analyze data, and assess what changing external guidelines mean for production.

Requirements

• Hold an academic degree in biomedical sciences, life sciences or process engineering.
• Have 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in a production environment, ideally in pharmaceutical, biological or chemical work.
• Solve problems analytically.
• Manage projects well.
• Ideally, know GMP standards and pharmaceutical regulatory requirements.
• Speak and write Dutch and English at an excellent level.
