Description

The company is building AI into biotech research so that molecules and crops move from discovery to patients and fields faster, cutting years of manual, disconnected R&D work.

Its platform lets scientists design experiments, capture structured data, and run AI agents and models inside their workflows. More than 200,000 scientists use it, including academic labs, Sanofi, Moderna, and more than half of the top 50 biopharma companies.

The company expects its staff to build AI skills themselves. Interviews include a short AI-focused exercise or discussion about how you use AI in your work, and you may mention any tools or workflows you already rely on.

The Professional Services team runs customer implementations for a fast-growing customer base, from small biotech startups to the largest biopharma companies. Implementation Managers learn how each customer's R&D processes work and lead rollouts that change how research teams collaborate.

You will combine your science background, project management experience, and product knowledge. You will work alongside customers' research scientists and internal teams, and you will lead every stage of a rollout, from requirements and solution design through configuration, testing, training, and user onboarding.

Responsibilities

  • Lead initial rollouts for new customers and expansion projects that bring new teams or processes into existing accounts.
  • Take ownership of the outcome from kickoff to go-live, using your project management, science, and product skills.
  • Write detailed project plans and manage the activities and deliverables that keep deployments on schedule, within budget, and high in quality.
  • Learn how each customer's scientific workflows operate and decide how the platform can meet their main business needs.
  • Run requirements and design workshops, model data, configure the application, write test plans, guide user acceptance testing, and train and onboard users.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor who helps customers apply the company best practices throughout the implementation.
  • Capture customer pain points, document them, and push for product changes internally.
  • Build and refine enterprise training programs, including written guides and videos.
  • Work with sales to spot and pursue account expansion opportunities after go-live.

Requirements

  • A degree in molecular biology, biochemistry, biotechnology, immunology, bioinformatics, biological engineering, or a closely related field. Advanced degrees are preferred.
  • At least 2 years working in a lab or research setting. You can relate to scientists and grasp complex scientific ideas quickly.
  • Strong communication skills for working with scientists, IT project leads, and executives.
  • You are self-directed and can thrive in a startup environment.
  • You are curious, creative, and persistent, and you enjoy working with customers and colleagues as a thought partner.
  • Ability to travel up to 25% of the time, depending on customer and project needs.
  • Nice to have: experience using the company, especially as a the company administrator.
  • Nice to have: software implementation experience, ideally at a SaaS company.
